Bad location, bad decision.
Pros:

It was clean and the housekeeping was prompt to provide us the toiletries or clean towels upon the request.

Cons:

Generally, I don't think it's right to be overly demanding, but considering the price paid, the location is far from good—or even safe. There are absolutely no breakfast options, either at the property or in the surrounding area, where I didn't feel safe at all to walk to far, but we tried. There is a shop nearby, but that’s it; there’s nowhere to get a decent coffee to sit down. I do not recommend it at all.
I made a reservation for three nights and even requested—in writing—that it be cancelled for the other two nights, even if a fee applied, yet I received no response. I saw no interest in helping customers. No one asked if we needed housekeeping during our three-day stay, and although there were two of us, they provided only one shampoo—even though there were two bars of soap. There was no hairdryer unless requested, and all other essentials were available only upon request.

When I got to the place the sheets were dirty and it smelled super bad, I didn’t even end up staying in the hotel for the time it was booked, I just came back and changed and that’s all

Pros:

I came into New York for a concert at Yankee Stadium and I chose this hotel because it was within walking distance of the stadium and it was reasonably priced and close to the subway. I like that I think there’s only like eight rooms per floor and I like that it was essentially located. I could easily walk to Chipotle the grocery store McDonald’s walk-through the park that was close by and there was reasonable shopping like dollar tree and five below close by. I don’t like to stay in high tourist areas. I prefer to stay in communities where city dwellers live so for me this hotel was fine. It’s not a luxury hotel. It’s a hotel. You would choose if you’re going to be on the go all the day and just need a place to lay your head.

Cons:

I didn’t like that. The only ice machine was down in the lobby. I prefer not to have my room cleaned daily and my linens changed so this hotel was fine for me but if that’s a service you want this would not be the hotel for you.
