This was a last minute booking on the day we were due to check-in and we needed to check in after 10.00pm - a member of staff kindly stayed to make sure we got in ok and was very helpful to 2 very weary travellers.

Very clean and comfortable, everything looks new. Our twin room was very spacious. The key card gives you access to the hotel without having to go through the pub and makes it easy to access the car park with your luggage. The hotel section is separated from the pub and as a result is secure and quiet. Very professional friendly staff and good breakfast. We ate in the pub restaurant in the evening and enjoyed the food. Would definitely stay again.
We were very tired when we arrived and ate in the pub restaurant. They had some very loud pub customers so we decided to leave after our meal and go back to our very quiet room.
A "hidden gem"! Exceptionally well equipped room. Great value. Lovely staff.

This hotel suited us entirely.
Cute little pub stop.
We found the staff very friendly but were stretched. After asking for a quiet room as our sleep had been disrupted 2 nights in a row prior. We were unfortunately positioned above the chiller which ran all night and right outside the garden bar. Room 201? - Felt like we weren't listened to.
Didn't want to ask to be moved, as above - staff seemed stretched.
The room was clearly specifically built & v well designed for a guest, everything required was there to a v gd standard.

The staff were excellent, so friendly and very helpful with booking taxis for a wedding we were in the area for. We had queries about leaving bags before check in and nothing was a problem for the staff, couldn’t fault them at all. The room was immaculate and the bed was big and super comfy. The Scone Arms had everything we required and we would definitely return if visiting the area again.
