Cute little pub stop.
We found the staff very friendly but were stretched. After asking for a quiet room as our sleep had been disrupted 2 nights in a row prior. We were unfortunately positioned above the chiller which ran all night and right outside the garden bar. Room 201? - Felt like we weren't listened to.
Didn't want to ask to be moved, as above - staff seemed stretched.
The room was clearly specifically built & v well designed for a guest, everything required was there to a v gd standard.

The staff were excellent, so friendly and very helpful with booking taxis for a wedding we were in the area for. We had queries about leaving bags before check in and nothing was a problem for the staff, couldn’t fault them at all. The room was immaculate and the bed was big and super comfy. The Scone Arms had everything we required and we would definitely return if visiting the area again.

Noise in my room from an air condition/chiller unit mounted on the outside wall - good job I had my noise can selling ear buds!!!
The food here is excellent, it is not standard pub fayre.
Even though we were staying for 4 nights, we were put in the only room that has a refrigeration unit bolted to its wall. It was really noisy. Could not get to change rooms. The food bill at the bar was wrong every night. Make sure you check it. Room was only serviced once. We were told when checking out that after our first night there they changed to require guests to put a sign on the door to request cleaning services, but no one told us that when we originally complained about the lack of service. I think that the management is a bielax.
Improvements to the interior were in progress.

Lively pub and hotel on weekends. Great menu choice. For a pub the rooms are surprisingly spacious, modern, clean and comfortable with all necessary amenities and removed from the pub side of things so not noisy. Small car park at the back and on a bus route.
We kept hearing next doors phone alarm going off which was annoying as they seemed to be ignoring it - or maybe had gone for breakfast ! That isn't the hotels fault though - otherwise stay was lovely
Suggestion for hotel - we couldn't find any USB charger points which most places have these days ?
Last minute booking on way back down south from the Highlands. Very comfortable stay, room very clean and warm, staff very friendly
Couldn’t find our way in at first but we did arrive when it was dark and likely down to us not knowing the place and not fault of the hotel

Great facilities and staff. Room spacious and very comfortable, food from the kitchen excellent... Special mention to Sarah the manager, and Fiona who greeted us and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble, even an early breakfast. A lovely stay, would recommend, and definitely return..
