This is a lovely place to stay - charming, classy and welcoming, half way up Cerro Concepción - a vibrant and arty historic quarter of Valpo
We had such a warm welcome from Valentina, who introduced the hotel and made us feel immediately like we'd chosen the right accommodation.
There are too many excellent details to list, and perhaps better for travellers to be surprised by themselves - but here's why we liked it.
The location is great, 8-9 mins walk from Puerto rail station (we walked and carried our bags up the not-insignificant flight of steps). It is not quite as far up the steep hill of Concepción as other hotels.
The beautifully restored historic building has a stylish new block attached, and is surrounded by a magical garden with new discoveries in every corner.
Our room in the new section was large and comfortable. It was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Thoughtful decor, with pieces hand made from reclaimed materials found locally. A large bed with excellent quality linen.
Breakfast was fabulous. Fresh ingredients, including home-grown and healthy options - served in the conservatory overlooking garden and ocean.
Advice from the knowledgeable receptionists added to our experience - and it was great to meet the owner, who has created a wonderful retreat, with an eco and artistic vision.
A final point to add is that as a male couple in our 50s, we felt completely at-ease here - with staff and other guests alike. Such matters are always a low level concern when selecting hotels far from home.

The hosts were so friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great with food grown and made on site. Our room was super clean and nicely renovated. Good location with an easy walk to restaurants.

Boutique look and feel with friendly staff and great services like included breakfast and daily tea time. Would recommend. Very central to all major areas.

L'emplacement est idéal pour partir à la découverte de Valparaiso et l'hôtel est charmant. Les hôtes ont tout fait pour que le séjour soit agréable (nombreuses petites attentions, conseils de visite...). Je recommande vivement !

Lo mejor del hotel lejos fue la atención. Tanto la chica que nos recibió (Samira) como los dueños del establecimientos con quienes estuvimos conversando durante el segundo día fueron excepcionalmente calidos y atentos. El establecimiento es grande y espacioso, muy bonito por dentro. Nuestra habitación era bonita, con excelentes vistas del mar y una cama cómoda y limpia. El desayuno muy rico también, además de variado.

Además cuando ya nuestro hospedaje había terminado, nos permitieron dejar el auto allí para nuestra mayor comodidad y luego lo fuimos a buscar en la tarde, en donde fue el dueño quien nos ayudó a sacarlo, la atención y dedicación 10/10.

Its in a perfect location with available onsite parking, which you must have in Valparaiso. Property is very unique and charming, matches the city vibe.

The garden was very pretty, the birds (including colibri) loved it too.
The overall design was very unique, featuring hand-made wooden furniture and details.
The staff was very friendly and helpful (thanks for helping me park the car).
The breakfast was tasty and varied.
What we liked the most was the personalized experience and direct communication with the staff.

The hotel has a lot of character and charm. The gardens are lovely and a good view over the port. The room was quiet and comfortable. The location is perfect in the touristy are that is the nicest part of town. It’s a boutique hotel geared for relaxing so there is no TV in the room - we were pleased by this but some would not be.

Security is important in Valparaiso so the secure car park was a relief for us during our stay.

Staff are helpful and friendly.

El jardín por lejos lo que más me gustó, tiene un paisajismo precioso, lleno de verdes, flores, colibríes..una maravilla. El desayuno también delicioso, mermeladas y queques deliciosos hechos por la dueña , ambos un amor y el personal también. La habitación precisa, con hermosa vista, rica ducha, estufa. Todo excelente!

Excelente atención del personal pero nos cobraron un valor diferente al reservado por booking.

Tiene una buena localización. El hotel tiene un jardín muy bonito y mantenido, la atención es excelente, todos los trabajadores con los que interactuamos fueron muy simpáticos y profesionales. La habitación muy completa y cómoda.
El estacionamiento se paga extra.
