Pros:

Great location with convenience stores, drug stores, supermarket and many restaurants nearby. 2 JR stops away from Shinjuku and 2 JR stops away from Ikebukuro. Very convenient. It's a local university area so there are many youngsters in the neighbourhood so it's very vibrant.

Cons:

The room is still a bit too small given the price, given that it's already 2 stops away from Shinjuku. I would expect the room rates to be cheaper or the room size to be bigger... But it's still a good place to stay

Right next to the metro is convenient, but cannot outweigh the ridiculously small size of the room.

I would like the opportunity to interact and speak to staff (rather than relying on robots for check-in). There is no-one around to tell you about local shops, culture. Also no breakfast included.

Pros:

Perfect location, just in front of train station. Surrounding many shop, restaurant and cafe. Very convenient. Hotel room is clean and spacious compare with others with the same value. I wish to come back and stay next year when come to Japan again.

Location was very good and the bedroom was ok.

Cons:

There was not flexibility or help towards the guests. We were requesting the staff if they could store our luggage after check out for 24hrs as we were planning to make a one day trip to another city and we would be spending the night there. They said it is not possible not even for an extra fee as we offer to pay for it. I also asked them if they can suggest a place which makes this service, any recommendation as they are locals and we only saw coin lockers. And they said they don't know, they cannot help.

Camera 1013 - Assolutamente consigliato
Pros:

Le camere sono piccole (come in tutta Tokyo) ma hanno tutto l'essenziale.
La colazione è ottima: a buffet, c'è molto salato e anche un po' di dolce.
La posizione è perfetta: a pochi minuti a piedi dalla linea JR Yamanote che permette di spostarsi per tutta Tokyo.
Vicino ci sono ottimi posti per andare a mangiare per cena senza andare troppo lontano.
Camera molto tranquilla e silenziosa.
Personale molto gentile, professionale e disponibile.

Cons:

Il personale non parla molto in inglese, ma è molto gentile e disponibile e utilizzando un traduttore vocale multilingua cercano di aiutare in tutti i modi.
Non sono molto organizzati neanche sulle cose che davo per scontato: esempio, non sanno dare una indicazione di dove un turista può trovare un ATM per prelevare contanti con la propria carta di credito VISA non giapponese.

Cons:

Camera un po' piccola soprattutto se si hanno dei bagagli. Alla reception qualche problema di comunicazione con la lingua inglese
