Pros:

Family run hotel and was made to feel so welcome and went out their way to accommodate me as a user of a disability scooter. They changed my room to the first floor and made sure my scooter was on charge overnight for the next days outing.

Fantastic location, 10 minutes away from the Center of Southampton but situated on the outskirts. Less than a 2 minute walk and your next to the river and park.

1 minute away from a row of shops, takeaways, cafes ad bars.

Un endroit très sympa pour un court séjour
Pros:

Personnel fantastique, sympathique, aimable, à l'écoute. Nous avons pu changé de chambre sans problème et le gérant était toujours disponible pour nous aider. La seconde chambre était spacieuse et très fonctionnelle. L'établissement est idéalement situé à mi chemin entre l'université et le centre ville.

Great location
Pros:

I have stayed there before and is under new management just recently taken over. Jay helped me with every extra request i had and i can see that this place could be a future improved accommodation to stay in once a few minor upgrades have been done. I hope to see you again in the future

We left without staying
Cons:

The hotel smelt like an old pub, the hallway carpet was sticky, the bed in our room was squashed up in the corner so I couldn't get in. I asked for a room on ground floor but ours was on 2nd floor. The room was very hot so I opened the window but the traffic noise was too loud. We left without staying.

Pros:

The exterior looks tired and dated but was pleasantly surprised when we got in. Jay at the reception was nice and friendly, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We also got toiletries, fresh towels, ensuite room was nice - clean and spacious with a lovely view of the river. There is free parking in front of the hotel. We enjoyed our stay and if we are ever in the area again, will revisit.

The person on reception was very friendly polite and helpful I would definitely recommend and go back again

Was good for the price

Cons:

Bathroom was quite small, didn't have a lock. Quite tight to around the toilet and the shower.
