This is an exceptional hotel in the Old Quarter, very high level of service from everyone we met would highly recommend.
Pros:

Really cool during a very hot spell in Hanoi. Service was exceptional. Very helpful and friendly staff. Food was great and the hotel was really clean and fresh.

They make you feel like a VIP!
Pros:

Super Convenient, clean, great AC. Attentive and kind staff. Great welcome tea and snack and farewell gift was thoughtful. Directed us to a nearby place to exchange money.

Cons:

The pool and pool area were not as well maintained as they should have been and just not a great vibe. As a selling point of the hotel, it was disappointing. Staff were clearly doing their best, but the hotel owners need to spend some money to spruce up the pool and improve that experience. They also need to spend some money on updating some of the bathroom/shower elements in the hotel rooms. Again, the hotel staff do their very best but this comes down to a lack of investment in maintenance and refurbishment of tired/worn elements such as shower tiles, seals and fixtures.

The roof top bar poking down on the busy old town streets is a wonderful way to start your mornings. Just as the air conditioned glamorous lobby is the best way to end your busy hot day full of sight seeing!

Cons:

if i was really digging deep to the slightest discomfort, it would have been nice to have had our room pre-cooled room so it wasn’t hot when we checked in
