Premium says it all
Pros:

We stayed at the GM for five nights. It’s hard to document how good the stay was. The rooms were fantastic, cleaned exceptionally well by the team every day. The location is fantastic. The food in the restaurant for both breakfast and the paid dinner were sensational and in the vicinity of five stars. The service by the overall team was excellent and the professionalism offered by the staff, specifically Annie, was well above what we expected for the price we paid. Annie went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and even helped us arrange transfers to different areas. The companies she recommended were also 5 star. I’d recommend the hotel for anybody looking to stay in a great location in Hanoi.

An amazing stay in the hotel. I am sure I’ll b back.
Pros:

The hotel is amazing. Ty e bed is so comfortable its feels like sleeping on a cloud. The water pressure in the shower is the best. It’s in the center of the center. Amazing staff , always asking if I’m ok. I loved the pool on the 10th floor and the rooftop bar

The fridge didn’t work quite well

Pros:

Location is central, personnel is very helpful also in organising trips to remote locations, breakfast is ok.

Cons:

It feels like the hotel is old and needs a refresh. We were told that we were upgraded to a suite however our room was far from being a suite. The swimming pool looked good on pictures but practically was quite poor when seen live.

Lovely hotel in a Perfect location in the heart of thr Old Quarter
Pros:

Location is fabulous! We absolutely loved being right in the middle of everything while still having a quiet room at night.
I also have to comment on the communication, it was the most efficient of all the hotels we stayed at in Vietnam. The staff was incredibly responsive and professional.
You can also pay by Revolut, which I wish I’d known from the start, as the initial communication mentioned payment in cash (either Vietnamese dong or US dollars) at check-in. Knowing this beforehand would have saved us the hassle of withdrawing cash at the airport.

Cons:

The girls in reception asked for any feedback on anything they can improve on - this is not a criticism but rather an observation from someone who has travelled the world and only stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world: I would have loved to have liquid hand soap rather than a bar of soap, as well as some hand lotion in the bathroom. The hand soap in the main lobby restroom smelled wonderful! It would have been lovely to have in the room.
Most importantly and from a sustainability perspective, it would also be more efficient, greener and cost effective to have large refillable dispensers for the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner instead of the tiny single-use plastic bottles. They’re also much easier to use. The products, especially the thicker conditioner, take quite a while to get out of the small bottles.

A peaceful oasis of calm in the bustling Old Quarter. Welcomed by Sheldon who went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect stay. Thank you Sheldon for your kindness, patience and perfect English. Would definitely stay again.

Cons:

Beds firm but room spacious and boujee.

This hotel is ideally located in the old town commercial district.It is competitively priced although the

I ordered a hotel taxi to and from the airport for peace of mind to avoid any surprises
The breakfast was excellent with plenty of different fruits as well as eggs of your choice.

Cons:

deluxe room was somewhat on the small side by asian standards the test being whether you can open your suitcase on the floor and not the case.The other unusual feature was the washbasin outside the bathroom and again a space issue imposed that.
The hotel was a little sombre with much of the decor brown.
The roof top bar was quite a confined space and there was no happy hour unlike other establishments and they added taxes as well as service charges which made for an expensive experience.
The swimming pool is not as it appears on the internet - it is more a plunge pool and sun loungers most of them are in the shadow and again a very confined space
Also the fact that they charged 5% surcharge to use an American Express card is not strategic move if they want returning customers
I did not find the evening menu at the hotel all that inviting considering the options available in the area.

Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend und auch das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Allerdings mussten wir bei der Bezahlung mit der Visa-Karte einen Aufschlag von 3 % zahlen, was uns auf unserer bisherigen Rundreise noch in keinem anderen Hotel begegnet ist. Zudem war das Zimmer für zwei große Koffer etwas zu klein. Insgesamt überzeugen jedoch die sehr gute Lage und der freundliche Service.
