Extremely disappointing

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing and did not meet the standard we expected.

Both the room and the bathroom were extremely small, making the stay quite uncomfortable. The cleanliness was also very poor. The room did not feel properly cleaned during our stay; it seemed that the towels were simply replaced, without the room itself being properly cleaned. We had to ask several times for the bed linens to be changed, and this was only done after the third request.

The ventilation above the bathroom was covered in dust and what appeared to be mold, which was very unpleasant and concerning. There were also numerous stains on the walls, both in the bathroom and in the room. Overall, the room gave the impression that proper cleaning and maintenance were not a priority.

The service at the reception was disappointing as well. When checking out, there was hardly any communication, and we were not even asked how our stay had been. There was no friendly goodbye or genuine interest in our experience. The staff at reception also did not come across as particularly welcoming or friendly.

Overall, we would not recommend this hotel. There are plenty of better options available, and in our opinion, this hotel is simply not worth the money. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

Lekker verblijf in Tokyo
Pros:

Dichtbij metro. Fijne onsen. Rustige omgeving. Paraplu's voor gasten, fijn als het 2 van de 5 dagen regent. Er is een 7Eleven in het pand, dat is super makkelijk als je net als wij geen ontbijt gereserveerd hebt. Centraal tussen diverse delen van Tokyo.

Cons:

Onhandige incheck met computer, waarbij medewerker toch alles wil doen. Maak een keuze, of check je gasten netjes persoonlijk in of laat het via computer lopen maar niet dat halve gedoe..slecht of eigenlijk nauwelijks engels. Bedden zijn te hard. Voor sommigen misschien niet centraal genoeg gelegen.

Awesome location and the room/hotel was modern. The 7-11 downstairs was incredibly convenient.

The elevators always stop at the second floor so that was a little frustrating.

Fantastic facilities, convenient location, superb stay
Pros:

Excellent location, fantastic drip coffee, the best quality toiletries for free. Lovely public bath with enough space. 7Eleven is part of the hotel. Great loungewear.

Cons:

No communal area/microwave to eat food purchased on the go.
