Lo que más nos gustó:
El hotel nos sorprendió muchísimo. Aunque al llegar la parte exterior no nos llamó especialmente la atención, por dentro cambia completamente y, visto desde el Duero, resulta espectacular. Las vistas son preciosas, la habitación estaba muy limpia y cuidada y el desayuno nos encantó. También destacar la piscina, perfecta para llegar después de pasar el día recorriendo Oporto y relajarse un rato. Además, el servicio de bar de la piscina hasta las 19:00 h es un detalle genial, tanto para tomar algo como para comer tranquilamente. Y, por supuesto, la amabilidad de todo el personal, que fue excepcional. Hemos disfrutado muchísimo de nuestra estancia en familia y repetiríamos sin duda.

Lo que menos nos gustó / aspectos a mejorar:
La verdad es que nos gustó prácticamente todo. Como pequeña sugerencia, creemos que la sala de juegos podría estar abierta durante más tiempo, incluso 24 horas, y estaría genial ampliarla con algún juego o actividad más para los niños.

Excelente opcion en Oporto, precio muy adecuado.
Pros:

Excelente opcion en Oporto, si bien no es muy cerca a los puntos de interes, el Uber funciona perfecto, en Portugal es una opcion economica y eficiente. Es una excelente alternativa porque permite combinar la ciudad con las comodidades de una especie de resort con piscina agradable sobre el rio. La zona de niños con mesa de billar y futbolito dan una mano para entretenerlos. Lugar muy agradable

Cons:

Ac never gets cold enough. This is the second time we have stayed here and it's the same problem. I travel to hundreds of hotels and pestana doesn't admit or fix the lack of proper cooling for guests that like cooler rooms to sleep comfortably.

Comfortable hotel with friendly staff
Pros:

We had a pleasant stay at Pestana Douro Riverside. The breakfast was very tasty with a good variety of options, and the staff were always friendly and welcoming. Another big advantage is the parking right next to the hotel, which made arriving and leaving very convenient.

Cons:

There are a couple of things that could be improved. The breakfast area is a bit too small for the number of guests, so it can get crowded during peak hours. The hotel is also located a little outside the city center, which may be less convenient if you want to explore Porto on foot. However, if you have a car, it’s not really an issue.

Goed maar geen 5 sterren eerder 4+
Pros:

Ik had per vergissing 2 eenpersoonskamers geboekt ipv 2 kamers voor elk 2 personen. De dame aan het onthaal maakte er geen probleem van en we moesten ook niets bijbetalen. Restaurant met buffet wel lekker en zeer vriendelijke bediening.

Cons:

Personeel,aan de bar buiten niet vriendelijk. Hygiëne kon beter. De kamers hadden niet de uitstraling van een 5 sterren hotel. Het hotel in het algemeen is een 4 sterren +. Ligging aan het water is heel mooi maar er is niet veel in de buurt.
