The granbell Colombo was a really nice stay for us, the view out to the sea and the sunset were incredible. We only stayed 1 night but could of definitely stayed more. The food we had at the Sushi bar was really tasty and we did some late night swimming which was a great experience. Lastly, I would go back here just for the Japanese toilets - I loved those things..
It was everything you would expect from a hotel of this size and calibre. Outstanding views, tasty roof top cocktails and an incredible japanese restaurant i will miss until I return. The japanese toilets turned out to be surprisingly positive experience, once I had overcome the initial fear
Not critique, but I would still say that the vibe felt a bit impersonal, but that is almost impossible to manifest in a fully booked hotel of this size
Location was ideal, close to all the key tourist areas. More of a business hotel.
But ocean side views were excellent.
Seating capacity for the breakfast buffet is a problem, always some adjustments or shuffling to seat in other non dining rooms.
Elevator/lifts close too quickly, likely to injure someone.

La camera è datata con moquette e in generale non sembra di stare in un 5 stelle seppure i prezzi siano da 5 stelle. Essendo stata anche all’hilton a Colombo non c’è veramente paragone. In ogni caso è una struttura carina ma molto migliorabile
Chambre spacieuse. Décoration de l accueil magnifique et vue sur la mer. Sur la terrasse magnifique piscine et bar aux tarifs très raisonnable !
Les chambres sans assez d éclairage au plafond ( sombre), et les ascenseurs beaucoup beaucoup trop longs à attendre
