Pros:

The room was very nice, comfortable bed and was fitted with all the things you need in the bathroom.
The pool area was beautiful and a highlight.

Cons:

The lighting in the dining area was like a hospital, they need better mood lighting.
Some of the staff were extremely friendly, others were not as engaged.
The breakfast was very western, the fruit was cut very small. I would like to have seen some more Sri Lankan dishes like hoppers. The menus in general were very western.
Other hotels we have stayed offered filtered water for free so we could fill water bottles rather than having to buy plastic.
The hotel has good bones but it needed some care, the ponds in the front, the sun beds, the towels were a bit tatty. There was a room full of furniture.
We enjoyed our stay but expected a higher level for the price.

A lovely short stay to access the local area
Pros:

A great location for the local area and the trips we were doing. The pool area was lovely and the design of the place was great. Quite basic in some ways but covered what we needed. The breakfast was quite basic but again covered our needs. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was perfectly fine with a nice shower. Staff were welcoming for the most part and we enjoyed our staff. It was good value for money too.

Nothing really. It was quite basic but perfectly fine and there was nothing to complain about.

Toplocatie voor enkele nachten. Mooie parkomgeving en complete rust.
Pros:

Wat een locatie!
Een privé-park met leuke, van elkaar gescheiden verblijven. Ruime huisjes.
Ruim zwembad.
Supervriendelijk personeel.
Het domein is in werkelijkheid nog mooier dan op foto.

Cons:

Het restaurantgedeelte is was wat vreemd opgevat. We waren opnieuw bijna de enige gasten, maar dienden soms lang te wachten op eten. Ietwat vreemde sfeer, maar heel lekker gegeten.

Pros:

Kindness of people and care of service was perfect.
Food from the restaurant was very good and high level. A more refined restaurant environment and maybe an outdoor setting would definitely upgrade the stay.

Cons:

The bungalow can be incredibly hot, we tried to relax in the afternoon but it was impossible due to the heat and low power of the air conditioning system. We were assigned the only bungalow right under the sun, others are under tree shade...maybe it's better.
In general, outdoor maintenance could be improved.

Acceptable, the place has great rooms, lots of potential, but passive staff and a dirty pool
Pros:

While the entrance looks quite messy, the interior with the huge pool garden looks very nice and is a great space to just chill. The rooms are very large and well equipped, beds are nice, shower great, airco fine.

Cons:

The pool was very dirty and the filtering was turned off, it felt like a chemical bath. The restaurant only does indoor seating which is a shame because you're looking at this fantastic garden and you're sitting in the cold. The food was ok but we avoided eating there whenever we could.

The main problem is that the staff was rather passive. We arrived, took a while for them to recognize new guest entered. Pool towels don't get restocked, the pool was dirty and didn't get cleaned except once in the morning, and while eating nobody came to offer drinks or water. But then again there's dozens of staff pretending to be very busy and there were hardly any guest

Good rooms poor amenities
Pros:

Very spacious rooms which were clean. Friendly reception staff who were very helpful with booking transport.

Cons:

Don’t bother with the restaurant, long wait, rude waitress, bugs in the food. Pool wasn’t clean.
