Large room, clean and great location. Free car parking
We booked with our 3 year old in mind as we could get an evening meal at property. Upon arrival told there was no staff so no evening meal. So we didn’t book breakfast in case the same thing happened
It was comfy
The lift was difficult to use to go up stairs swapped room with family members down stairs
Stayed for long weekend for a music festival they put on transport to get us there and back which was great, comfy bed

No tonic water or adequate wine in bar
The staff and the room were very good and the bed was comfy.
It was quite noisy with doors banging as I think the hotel was very busy. I would stay there again i think it was just unfortunately busy and I was next door to a young family.

The room was large. There was a kettle to make hot drinks.
The hotel was situated in a rather grubby area. You had the choice of approaching down a steep hill, or along a badly damaged road. The car park was small with room for about 10 cars. There was very little breakfast options available. There was orange and apple juice and coffees from a machine. The full cooked breakfast was referred to as a "small breakfast" and consisted of only one of each item you would expect in a cooked breakfast. There were only 2 cereals (1 on our last day) bread, jams croissants and yogurts. It was not worth the extra we paid for it. The hanging space for clothes was a metal bar sticking out, about a foot long. The bed was uncomfortable, the pillows were flat and lumpy. The room was cold, but we had no means to warm it. It was noisy at night with loud voices and doors banging. After about 5 am there was a constant series of noises from showers, toilet flushes and more doors banging. There was nowhere to put our toiletries etc in the shower room. The shower leaked profusely, leaving little water in the shower head. The "bedside lights" were very bright and shone straight into our eyes when in the bed. The TV was too high up to see properly.
The staff were very helpful and cheerful.
The wallpaper was peeling in some areas , the caulk in the shower was not finished and therefore the shower leaked a bit, the bathroom door handle popped off at one point and therefore curtain rails were damaged.
Location good and staff very friendly as I had a bit of an health problem last saturdaynight and ended up in hospital. the young girl behind the desk was so caring for me and looked after me .iwould like you to thank her for me sat night 6 september
