Depiero Hotel Karaköy

Estaba en Un callejon Orriblee ... que daba Hasta Miedo jaja Abia drogadictos. I gente que duerme en la calle Por todos los lados era Muy muy oscuro i en la discripsion ponia que hay vistas ala Galata I era mentira

It was a disaster. When we came they told us that electricity is not working so we couldn't use television and climatic system. Then they put us in other hotel with 2 stars. And the didn't give us money for being in worse hotel.

We are extremely upset with Depiero Hotel Karaköy for the terrible experience they put us through. We feel completely scammed! We booked a 4-star hotel, but upon arrival, we were rebooked without any prior notice allegedly because of some electrical problems. We had to decide on the spot and felt completely betrayed as soon as we arrived at the alternative they provided, the Mayer Hotel Istanbul, which is only a 2-star hotel.

If they had communicated this better and given us a similar 4-star hotel in a similar location, this would not have been a problem. Instead, Depiero Hotel Karaköy forced an unacceptable downgrade on us. The hotel they sent us to was horrific: the location was in a very dirty and tight area that made us feel unsafe. The room was extremely dirty, featuring dust, bugs in the bathroom, and hairy floors. The breakfast was minimal, and the staff could hardly speak English.

By failing to notify us before our arrival and cornering us into accepting a 2-star alternative instead of the 4-star experience we paid for, Depiero Hotel Karaköy completely ruined our stay. STAY AWAY!

La ubicación está en una calle muy abandonada y sucia. La cama no tenía sábana encimera, ni colcha. Al pedir una nos ignoraron y tuve que pedirla de nuevo al día siguente.

Upon arrival on 12 September, we were only informed after providing our passports and reservation details that we could not stay there due to an alleged electricity problem. We were transferred to another hotel without any prior notice or agreement.

The alternative hotel was not equivalent and caused us inconvenience and additional expenses. We strongly object to the way our reservation was handled and expect Booking.com to take this matter into consideration.

Siamo arrivati e ci hanno detto che c’era un overbooking, ci avrebbero indirizzato in un altro hotel, dopo aver chiamato Booking e aver perso 2 ore ci hanno riferito che la stanza si era liberata. Dopo il check in, mentre ci stavamo riposando, mi hanno chiamata insistentemente al telefono della camera dicendomi che la camera era stata cancellata e che se non fossi scesa in reception a pagare mi avrebbero cacciata. Colazione modesta, pulizia idem.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were informed that they were having electrical issues and that they had arranged another hotel for us instead.

Unfortunately, the alternative hotel was far from the original location and nowhere near the same standard. We chose this hotel specifically because of its location and planned our entire trip around it.

Because we were moved to a much less convenient location, several of our planned activities and programs had to be cancelled, which seriously affected our trip.

We understand that unexpected electrical problems can happen, but the way this situation was handled was extremely disappointing. We should have been offered a suitable alternative of a similar standard and in a comparable location.

Overall, this experience caused us a lot of inconvenience and ruined a significant part of our plans. I would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.
