This is wonderful hotel right in the center of town. The style is updated and fresh!
Pros:

This property does not provide breakfast but plenty of options in the neighborhood.

The shower in the bathroom was quite treacherous and needs to have a mat to prevent slipping and the carpet needs upgrad

It was a very good choice for a one-night stay in Portsmouth.
Pros:

Staff was very friendly and helpful! The hotel provides very good suggestions for restaurants within walking distance.
And very close to major shopping street, riverfront, and downtown music venues.

Cons:

No parking on-site, and extra charge for off-site parking.

Pleasant, historical but limited and expansive.
Pros:

The room was small but nice and had a heated bathroom floor. Cute theming and pleasant interior.

Cons:

The front desk person was a bit indifferent to us. She wore headphones for much of our first interaction. Not mean but not friendly or helpful really. The whole tone of our email interactions was brusque as well. Our parking question was “denied”. Odd.
