Hotel was very nice. Friendly staff, lovely, spacious rooms and just a really lovely vibe! We got a free upgrade on arrival which was amazing and check in was Easy -no hassle. It was quiet on our floor but in general quiet throughout the hotel. The rooms were clean, and comfortable. We had water, tea and coffee facilities and some little biscuits ( it’s the small things that count). Location was slightly out of town but very easy to get into the city centre using the no 79 bus and getting it just across the road. Parking next door was just perfect too. We will definitely stay again!
The only thing is ( and I am being very very picky here) I would have liked more than 2 teabags . I love a cuppa and 2 didn’t last us but I imagine if I’d have asked for more they would have given me them! If this is all I had to moan about then the hotel are doing something right!

Breakfast is excellent as is the bar. Rooms are very good and it's generally just a very good hotel. We've stayed a few times previously, but the last was almost 3 years ago.
