This is a very good modern hotel. Very close to the hospital and university but also an easy walk into the centre in 15 minutes. Taxis are cheap if you don’t want to walk. Food in the hotel is excellent. There is a good range of food at breakfast. The rooms are large and mine had an amazing view of the city. Staff are attentive. Thoroughly recommend.
Nothing
We had a Deluxe Executive King and it was nice and spacious. Robes and slippers included and complimentary water. Rituals shower goodies in the bathroom were a nice bonus (I love Rituals). We had a drink in the bar area, which was very quiet, not too busy at all.
There were tea/coffee facilities but no actual tea or coffee, milk or sugar. I probably could've asked for some, but was disappointed when the kettle boiled upon packing to leave and couldn't find any.
The room was big and very confy with a nice laptop table and chair .
I see this Novotel hotel every time I travel to Liverpool
The room was lovely however, the edges on the base of the bed are too pointy and sharp. I banged my leg on it while walking past the bottom of the bed, it was very painful and it’s giving me a bruise.
If they rectify that by putting a covering on the sharp edges everything will be fine. I have reported this to the hotel manager, so hopefully they will make the change.

Location is perfect
Why do we need a Turkish restaurant? Simple food before travelling would be so much better. Asked for curry with no spice, came with spice. Room for 2 adults had only one towel.
Great location, great hotel, staff very helpful
When I searched for a hotel, I ticked two filters, breakfast and parking - which both showed on the hotel option.
The breakfast was included, and very good, but found when we arrived that the hotel doesn’t have a car park but gives a reduction on local car park instead - so an extra £14 on top of the hotel price.

Clean and modern. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Great choices and good quality.
