Nice hotel BIG SAFTY concern

Big CONCERN
The lift to the car park failed at the car park level The door only opened about 6” I could not get out Tried all buttons no use Pressed emergency button NO RESPONSE !!! Tried to force the doors again and just managed to get them open enough

PS The two doors after leaving the lift were very very stiff to open I just managed but my wife could not open them

Excellent modern hotel close to city centre
Pros:

Very comfy beds and great value for money. Facilities in the room were great, friendly staff, great location close to city centre

Cons:

As others have said parking can be a nightmare as spaces book up quick. We parked at an NPC nearby overnight that ended up better value and not too far away.

Only other issue, I am an IHG member and I had booked two rooms, but I wasn’t able to get the late check out for the other guest, only me, which seemed a bit crazy as it was all booked under my name.

Super stay, extremely quiet for sleeping. Very comfortable bed and bedding.
Pros:

Very comfortable room with super bedding, mattress topper and soft pillows. Beautifully quiet, with obviously great double glazing.

Excellent and reasonably priced breakfast.

Super location for access to the University campus. .

Possibly the best hotel in Leicester City
Pros:

Helpful and welcoming staff. Great ambiance. Funky yet functional rooms. Good breakfast options including a delicious smoothie.

Cons:

By the very nature of its location being opposite a hospital and between two main roads, a great view is not expected so I didn’t have any expectations with regards to this!

Great hospitality
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and facilities were amazing. Great value.
I only stayed one night, but I had a very enjoyable stay. I had included breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of items available.

Cons:

The reception area was not obvious, 2 small desks tucked in a corner. When there is a queue waiting to check in/out, it can block the main entrance.

Friendly welcome and comfortable bed - we always choose to stay here in Leicester.

Door open to room when we arrived which always a bit unnerving.

Light over the tea/ coffee area not working, only 1 towel and no bottle opener .

Bacon is tough and inedible under the light lamps
