Worst Honeymoon Ever - Lied, Asked for 1000 MAD and Did NothingWe told Marriott Rabat before arrival that we were coming for our honeymoon.
We were expecting something special.
But it turned out to be heartbreaking.At check-in the front desk told us "if you want the room decorated for honeymoon you have to pay 1000 MAD".
1000 Moroccan Dirhams for some flowers.I said no this is not acceptable. Then the manager came and apologized and promised us they will prepare the room for us.
We believed her and went up to the room waiting.But nothing was done. Nothing at all.
No flowers, no care, no respect.This is not Marriott. This is not the Marriott standard.
We felt ignored and lied to on the most important trip of our lives.
Marriott Rabat ruined our honeymoon.

The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The service was great, the hotel was very clean, and the breakfast was delicious. Everything was excellent, and I would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel, clean and nice rooms, lovely staff. There are two very good restaurants, and the proximity to the mall allows you to benefit from the supermarket or other ahopping options. Located Very centrally in the city.

I travel frequently, but I have to say that the welcome we received at the Marriott Rabat was truly exceptional. We stayed as a family with our two young children, and from the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel genuinely cared for.
The check-in staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Throughout our visit, every member of the team—from the front door staff to the restaurant and pool attendants—was friendly, attentive, and professional.
A special thank you to Khadija, who was so kind and caring with both us and our children. Anas stood out for his professionalism, friendliness, and outstanding service. We also greatly appreciated Ahmed, who took the safety of our children around the pool very seriously, giving us real peace of mind as parents.

The hotel itself is beautiful, with elegant suites, excellent facilities, and a wonderful atmosphere. What truly sets it apart, however, is the exceptional team who made our family feel so welcome.
