Perfect place to stay to explore Waterton Lakes NP!
Pros:

Right next to the lake, all restaurants and shopping are walking distance. Beautiful location for walking and exploring! The room is beautiful and comfortable. The restaurant is amazing in the hotel.

Convenient place to stay in a beautiful locale.
Pros:

Great location. Restaurant was good, but not excellent. Staff were really friendly. Bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The shower was too challenging for one of us to use. The step in was too high and there were no grab bars. A larger common area/lobby would have been appreciated.

Poor management and an unpleasant front desk experience.
Pros:

The location is beautiful, and the room itself was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the overall experience was significantly affected by poor management and unprofessional customer service.

Cons:

From the moment we checked in, the receptionist was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to listen to our concerns. She incorrectly stated that our reservation was for two nights when it was actually for one. When I asked her to verify the reservation, she eventually acknowledged that she had read the information incorrectly but did not apologize.

We booked a room with two queen beds for four people, yet there were only two bathrobes and one set of toiletries provided. There was no kettle, or a microwave, in the room, and we had to request a kettle from the front desk after check-in.

The most concerning issue was an unexpected charge that appeared on my credit card the day before my stay from Crandell Mountain Lodge. I never had a reservation with Crandell Mountain Lodge. However, during check-in, the front desk asked whether I was checking in for Kilmorey or Crandell, and I later learned that the two properties are operated by the same company and are located directly across the street from each other.

When I raised concerns about the charge, the receptionist denied that it was related to the property and directed me to contact Booking.com. It was only after insisting on speaking with a manager that I received a different explanation. The manager told me the charge was merely a temporary authorization used to verify my credit card and assured me that the amount would not be deducted from my account.

This information turned out to be incorrect. The charge was later posted as an actual transaction. What is most disappointing is not just the charge itself, but the way it was handled. Staff provided conflicting information, no one took ownership of the issue, and management has failed to provide a satisfactory explanation despite multiple attempts to obtain clarification. A billing concern of this nature should have been handled professionally and transparently. Instead, it was met with dismissiveness, contradictory explanations, and a lack of accountability.

The best balcony view of any hotel I have stayed. Room was very beautiful too. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Staff were fabulous at this perfectly located hotel. with any request
Pros:

Our good sized ground floor room opened onto a patio with a table and chairs, with lawn and a view of the lake. Wildlife was abundant (including deer grazing nearby). The in-house restaurant was excellent too.

Great location waterton!!

Super clean rooms... upscale feel and restsurant and the pub great.
