Royal Select at Grand Park Royal Cancún - All Inclusive - Adults Only

I stayed at the hotel from April 30 to May 4, 2026. Since we spent time in Playa del Carmen, we arrived at the hotel around midnight.

First, I left our luggage and my fiancée at the main entrance. Then, following the bellboy’s directions, I went to park the car. However, there were absolutely no signs or directions indicating how to get back into the hotel from the parking area. I ended up walking through the ventilation areas, passing by the staff dining hall, and eventually taking an elevator that led me somewhere inside the hotel—but with no idea where I actually was.

At that point, I called my fiancée and asked her to speak with the receptionist, Rodrigo, so I could get directions to the front desk. His response was that he does not speak to anyone on the phone. Even when my fiancée put the call on speaker, he refused to provide any assistance or directions.

I was left to wander around the large hotel on my own in the middle of the night until I eventually managed to find the reception. Rodrigo then gave us our room key and provided only very vague directions. It was practically impossible to locate the room with those instructions. We started walking around different blocks with our luggage—yes, with our luggage, because the bellboy had disappeared.

Eventually, we came across a chef, who kindly helped us find our room. When we finally entered, we were able to set aside our frustration thanks to a thoughtful birthday surprise prepared for my fiancée by Jessica. Throughout our stay, Jessica was extremely helpful in every way, and we would like to sincerely thank her.

Very nice beach (not too crowded, still enjoyable even during “seaweed season”, clean). Very nice breakfast in the “VIP restaurant” with excellent and kind service from Alicia.

I had an incredible stay. The entire team was incredibly nice and attentive from the moment I arrived. The hotel has a wonderful service. The restaurants were fantastic—every meal was wonderful and the servers went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I highly recommend staying here if you want perfect service and great food!. Spectcular view from the room.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and honestly couldn’t fault a thing. Everything was excellent from start to finish. The facilities were fantastic, beautifully maintained, relaxing, and perfect for switching off completely.
We liked that there was an adults-only pool area, which created such a peaceful atmosphere. Although we spent most of our time at the beach because it was just too beautiful not to!
Our room was lovely, spacious, spotless, and the sea view was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to that view every morning was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.
The food at the Veranda buffet restaurant was amazing, every meal was delicious with so much choice and great quality throughout our stay (the lunch and dinner desserts were especially yummy!)
What truly made the experience special was the staff. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. The level of service was exceptional and made us feel so comfortable and well looked after from the moment we arrived.
We also went to Coco Bongo during our stay and it was truly a one-of-a-kind experience! It’s only about a 3 minute drive from the hotel and is definitely worth going to while you’re there (we highly recommend getting tickets with a table).
We had such a relaxing and memorable stay and would happily return again. Highly recommend!

Nossa estadia no Royal Select at Grand Park Royal Cancún foi simplesmente impecável do início ao fim.

A vista do nosso quarto era maravilhosa, realmente inesquecível. O quarto, com cama king size e banheira, era extremamente confortável e proporcionou uma experiência de muito relaxamento durante toda a viagem.

Outro grande diferencial foi o serviço de mordomo, que nos auxiliou com todas as reservas dos jantares e também das cabanas na praia e na piscina exclusiva para adultos.

Além disso, o Royal Select conta com um restaurante privativo para os hóspedes dessa área do hotel, onde o café da manhã e o almoço acontecem em um ambiente muito tranquilo e exclusivo, tornando cada refeição ainda mais agradável.

Gostaria de fazer um reconhecimento especial ao Rigoberto, que foi a pessoa que mais nos acolheu durante toda a nossa estadia. Seu atendimento foi excepcional, sempre gentil, atencioso e muito profissional. Ele realmente fez a diferença na nossa experiência e merece um reconhecimento mais do que especial.

The FOOD - we only ate at the buffet once or twice when we were in a hurry. It was exactly what you would expect from a buffet. Nothing amazing but still tasty with lots of variety. We missed breakfast most days because we are piss heads and prioritised late nights but TIP - if you want bacon, just ask for it. GREGORIO who we visited a few times @ the Italian restaurant was a highlight. He knew our drink orders and we never had to ask. He’s funny, so proficient and his service is above and beyond. The steak and mash potato @ the Italian was really good and that’s coming from hubby who’s the most pessimistic person I know.

The teppanyaki/hibachi is great and so much fun. If you don’t have a butler booking for you make sure you book in early to avoid disappointment as you can imagine the spots are limited with the size of the resort.

The Mexican restaurant is delicious. We consider ourselves foodies and I love seafood so I kept going back for lunch mainly as i prefer smaller share options. Yes I ate the raw seafood, yes it was delicious! The “Mac and cheese” and the steak burrito on the dinner menu were definite highlights.

What really stands out at this resort is the staff. Every single encounter we had was above and beyond any service we have experienced either back home or abroad. The resort is always clean, never a hassle for rooms to be cleaned at anytime and room service is 24/7! The boys @ the Cassis bar are always so busy but never forgot our drink orders, they greet you with a smile and are so calm under pressure. Jordano (I’m hoping I got this right I was often far too many Margs in). Our usual cabana server loves his job! To work 6 days and week walking back on forth along the beach in the heat and have this positive and passionate energy is so impressive! A young man with a huge future ahead of him.

Damian @ the roof top - always went above and beyond. This man is a godsend to the resort and deserves a pay rise IMMEDIATELY!
