Nice hotel, lack of services and accessibility
Pros:

While the hotel is nice with fantastic views, the remoteness and lack of restaurant really hurt the experience. The hotel provides free shuttles for breakfast and dinner, but only during specific, inconvenient times. Additionally the restaurant you are taken to is horrible and overpriced. We could not even get a hamburger served in an hour and a half wait.

Also most tours will not pick up or drop off at this hotel. We paid an additional $65 to be dropped off after a tour. If you don’t have your own car, stay somewhere else

Touristy area but far away from any amenities
Pros:

The hotel offers a fantastic view of the volcano and is conveniently located directly opposite the hanging bridges park entrance, which can easily be reached on foot. Free coffee, ice cubes and a large fridge were a nice touch, and the insect screens on the windows allowed us to sleep with fresh air at night.

Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The room felt musty, poorly furnished, and lacked basic storage space. Some power outlets did not work, housekeeping was inconsistent, and communication at reception was difficult. Breakfast required driving to another location and was OK, while dining options nearby were limited and overpriced.

Construction noise during the day and repeated nighttime power outages, followed by a loud diesel generator, made the stay even less comfortable. Overall, the price-performance ratio was far from acceptable.

Pros:

La vue exceptionnelle et la situation en face du Mistico park et loin de La Fortuna plus touristique. L’hôtel Iguana resort à côté permet de prendre le petit dej inclus et aussi de profiter d’une piscine c’est parfait. La vue de la salle de bain (et du lodge) sur Arenal

La vue et le lit très confortable.

Cons:

Matériaux utilisés très basiques, finitions pas top et même pas une chaise ou table sur la terrasse. Cher pour ce que c’est. Juste un restaurant dans les alentours, le prochain est à 20min de route.

Super schönes Apartment mit großen Bett, schönem Balkon, großer Dusche und alles sehr sauber. Man hatte alles was man brauchte an Ausstattung und viele Tiere auch direkt auf dem Gelände des Hotels.

Cons:

Für das Frühstück musste man ein Stück fahren und generell war das Hotel super weit ab vom Schuss. Wir mussten jedes Mal fürs Abendessen nochmal 30 min fahren und auch der Weg zum Hotel ist ziemlich lang mit viel auf und ab.

Retiré dans la nature tout en gardant le grand confort du monde moderne - une expérience fantastique

Cadre exceptionnel - endroit très reculé en plein milieu de la nature - très belle lodge - très spacieuse - personnel au petit soin

Cons:

Pas grand chose à vrai dire - un petit point d amélioration peut être sur les breakfast boxes - le petit déjeuner sur place est de très bonne qualité mais le petit déjeuner à emporter pourraient être amélioré - cela reste anecdotique tant la prestation générale est de très bon niveau.

Tolle Unterkunft mit perfektem view!
Pros:

Zimmer mit perfekter Aussicht zum Vulkan. Unterkunft befindet sich direkt gegenüber von den Hängebrücken. Zum Frühstück muss man 500 Meter weiter in ein anderes Hotel fahren oder es gibt einen Shuttle Service. Für uns war das kein Problem. Frühstück war sehr gut.

Great spot for nature and wildlife appreciation
Pros:

Villas are inside the forest and have incredible views on Arenal volcano. We spotted most wildlife on and around the lodge grounds.

No restaurant, coffee shop on site. No swimming pool. They have a deal with the nearby resort but the resort is very expensive and it's not a walkable distance.
