Stop and Go...

Great hotel for location but could have been a much better experience
Pros:

Good location and rooms were a good size

Cons:

Staff were unorganised and not very helpful. The booking via booking.com added confusion as to paying one room out of the two rooms that we booked to be paid in person however I was under the impression it was automatically paid. We ended up paying both rooms in person in the end but just added to much hassle on arrival

Had better rooms
Pros:

Great location close to the train station and subway stop.
Our room was on the 16th floor and had a great view over Glasgow.
Big bed. Fridge in room. Robes and slipper in room.
Room clean

Cons:

Have stayed at the Clayton numerous times, and it's normally great, but this room was a let down. The room was small. We paid to upgrade, and it was disappointing how little it was.
The thermostat would turn itself off randomly. It went off both nights and sometimes during the day.
The shower wouldn't keep an even temperate. It went a little too hot, then cooled, on repeat.
Chrome casting wasn't working.

Best check in ever just like you'd expect from any hotel 2 minutes and you're in the lift to your room I've had issues with the larger chain hotels in Glasgow and waited over an hour just to talk to a member of staff *****

Great Location, Friendly Staff - room for improvement
Pros:

We loved the location and breakfast, accommodation was clean and service excellent

Cons:

We thought the Aircon could have been a lot better, we struggled keeping the room cool and having the windows open was not ideal with the road noise. Other areas for improvement would be: including a fridge and a smart TV

We had issues with our keys on multiple days - and although we were granted a complimentary 1hr later check out, the keys stopped working at 11:00. Which is required to access anywhere in the hotel.
