Kaaro Hotel El Buho

Quarto e corredor escuro. Para abrir a porta do quarto é no tato.
Chuveiro péssimo: ou é muito gelado ou fervendo, deve ser pela antiga instalação hidráulica.
O quarto não tem calefaçāo, é um gelo, foram noites péssimas.

El WiFi nunca funcionó, tuve que ir a un restaurante para tomar una reunión programada ya que la conectividad siempre fue muy débil, no tienen una sala de reuniones y solo internet funciona bien en el primer piso, baño con mal olor, la pieza muy helada, llegué a las 5 am y pedí un calefactor el cual lo tuve encendido día y noche.

Rooms feel very cold and damp

The problem is it gets very cold at night in Puno and the rooms are not heated. Which normally is not a problem for us, because we know it gets cold in Peru, but the showers were most of the time cold. Which made the only warm place in the room under the blankets. The few times the water got hot, it got cold mid shower. The result was that we had to run as fast as we could to our beds. If you're a fast runner, this will be no problem for you, I personally didn't like this. We mentioned the showers to the staff, they tried to help us but we didn't feel like they were doing anything about it. Maybe they couldn't help it, but we didn't receive a lot of communication or solutions about it. At last one of our rooms had stains in the bedsheets and towels, maybe this was accidental, but it made our experience a bit less comfortable. The moment we mentioned it, they wanted to clean it, but their was a lot miscommunication between the staff, so their was a lot of back and forth communication, which made us a bit annoyed. I do have to say that the other room was clean, so maybe this was just an accident. Usually I don't complain a lot, I think it was a lot miscommunication and unfortunate events. Overall I would recommend it, but just keep this in mind, because this was our experience.

I have never been so cold in a hotel room in my life. The temperature was of -1°C outside so you can imagine how cold a room was without heating. I complained at the reception and they promised to bring me a heater. I waited 3 hours for someone to bring me heat. They didn't. Breakfast was also awful. Everything empty and needed to constantly remind someone to fill up food and drinks. Terrible hotel. Will NEVER recommend this to anyone.

On est arrivé à l' hôtel à 4h30 du matin très compliqué. On ne trouvait pas. On est revenu à l' aéroport froid glacial. Puis on a attendu et on est revenu.
Attention il est nécessaire de demander le chauffage
et sèche cheveux.

Had to keep asking staff for stuff at breakfast as they weren't replenishing things as they ran out even though they were constantly walking around and seeing things empty!!!

All’arrivo non lo trovavamo a causa di un cambio di nome dell’hotel: Kaarol su Booking, ma El Buho sull’insegna. La stanza era molto fredda e dopo un’ora dall’aver chiesto, ci han dato una stufetta elettrica che non scaldava per niente (su booking segnava riscaldamento presente).

El trato del personal a los nacionales. Un día desayunamos a las 8:00 y ya no había nada, cuando pedimos que nos preparen nos dijeron que ya no había, después de insistir nos prepararán.
La habitación cuando llegamos estaba helada, nos dijeron que use el calentador nos daban a partir de las 6 pm, tuvimos que insistir para que nos entreguen uno.
El agua caliente solo en las noches y temprano en las mañanas, durante el día no hay.
De en indicar que el pago con tarjeta de crédito le adicionan el 5%.
