We had a wonderful family holiday at Hotel View in Postira with our 2-year-old in mid-July. We highly recommend it, especially for families with young children.

The hotel has three swimming pools, and during our stay the water temperature in all of them was around 30°C. The children's pool with a slide was fantastic, and there were many families with young children, making it easy for the kids to make new friends. The staff were always friendly and welcoming.

Our sea-view room was clean, and we really liked the firm mattresses. Instead of using a baby cot, we used the pull-out bed underneath the main bed, which was perfect for our toddler to sleep close to us.

The food was tasty with plenty of choice, and we especially enjoyed being able to have a glass of champagne with breakfast. Even when some dishes ran out later in the evening, there was always something delicious to choose from.

The animation team was amazing. Our child loved the mini disco, and the aqua aerobics created a fantastic atmosphere around the pool. The beach is just a short walk away, very well maintained, and the sea is crystal clear. Postira is a lovely little town with playgrounds and a relaxed atmosphere, making it perfect for families.

Cons:

The only real downside was an occasional unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom drain. We would also love to hear music around the pools more often during the day, as it created a great atmosphere during aqua aerobics. The Kids Club could also offer a few more toys, books, and activities for younger children.

Najbolja i najpovoljnija ponuda na Jadranu.
Pros:

Plaža VRH. Pogled BRUTALAN. Doručak NAJBOLJI IKAD. Cijena SMIJEŠNA! Svi hoteli u Hrvatskoj se mogu sramit pored ovoga giganta na Braču. Za ove pare u HR bolje ne postoji.

Preis - Leistung einfach schlecht

Das Zimmer war schön. Sonst nichts.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist für das Dorf schlichtweg zu groß. Es wirkt wie ein Fremdkörper oder ein gestrandetes Kreuzfahrtschiff in einem ansonsten sehr schönen Dorf, und die Dimensionen schlagen sich leider direkt auf die Qualität nieder.

**Außenbereich, Pool und Strand**
Die Anlage ist für die Anzahl der Gäste deutlich unterdimensioniert. Am Pool sind ab 9:00 Uhr keine Liegen mehr frei. Der Strand ist für diese Gästezahl viel zu klein, die Liegen dort sind zusätzlich kostenpflichtig – und das, obwohl man praktisch Kante an Kante liegt. Privatsphäre gibt es faktisch nicht.

**Atmosphäre**
Es ist durchgehend laut. Wer Erholung sucht, ist hier falsch. Das Hotel ist ausschließlich auf Familien mit Kindern ausgerichtet und funktioniert als eine Art Kinder-Actionpark. Das ist für die Zielgruppe durchaus gelungen, aber ein Hotel sollte auch Rückzugsräume bieten. Das Gefühl entspricht dem eines maßlos überfüllten Freibads. Es gibt viele Familienhotels, in denen man als Erwachsener mit Kind trotzdem zur Ruhe kommt – hier definitiv nicht.

**Essen und Speisesaal**
Der Speisesaal ist ungemütlich und steril, es hallt stark, Kinder laufen kreuz und quer. Der Außenbereich sieht nach dem Buffet regelmäßig verwüstet aus – Essensreste auf dem Boden und an den Wänden. Das Servicepersonal ist mit dem Andrang sichtlich überfordert. Die Speisen selbst sind in Ordnung (etwa 4,5 von 10), aber nach fünf Tagen ist das Angebot ermüdend: Das Geschmacksspektrum ist täglich identisch. Wer sich abwechslungsreicher oder gesünder ernähren möchte, findet keine Optionen. Vegetarische Gerichte fehlen praktisch vollständig. Auch als Fleischesser kann man nicht 14 Tage lang täglich Rind, Huhn und Schwein essen.

**Personal**
Sehr unterschiedlich – ein Teil freundlich, ein Teil ausgesprochen unhöflich und einfach sehr desinteressiert. Man hat immer das Gefühl, das Personal wird nicht geleitet. Niemand weis was er zu tun hat und macht einfach gar nichts.

TOUT! L'hôtel est magnifique, il satisfait toutes nos attentes avec une magnifique plage pour ceux qui souhaitent se baigner dans la mer ou de superbes piscines avec infrastructure pour enfants. L'hôtel est propre, spacieux et luxueux.
On y mange très bien autant pour le déjeuner (il y a beaucoup de choix) ou pour le dîner et souper. Le personnel est très aimable et toujours disponibles.
Il y a également des programmes pour enfants ce qui est tres intéressant mais aussi salle de sport très bien équipée pour les adultes ou SPA ou cours à la piscine.
L'hôtel est très bien situé à côté d'une magnifique rive pour de belles promenades le soir.
Nous avons adoré et espérons y revenir très vite.

Modern hotel with an excellent view
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful, clean, modern, and luxurious, featuring comfortable beds and modern rooms. The bathrooms even include Rituals products. The hotel meets all my expectations and wishes. The pool and beach are also lovely. The beach has fine pebbles, which isn't a problem at all. The sea is clean and clear—for us, these are the most important factors for a beach holiday. The food was good, too. They could perhaps offer smoothies as well; I’ve seen that at the RIU hotel chain, for example.
