Underwhelmed
Pros:

Friendly staff

Uncomfortable mattress
Couldn't flush toilet in the morning
Food: Chicken Tikka portion size too small, husband was left rather hungry. My Scampi were mushy.
Breakfast: coffee machine coffee was lukewarm.
No fresh orange juice as advertised, we were served an orange squash.....I questioned the lovely lady providing the breakfast who said that they don't serve fresh OJ. I could purchase a fresh one.....she had addressed this issue before with her boss without success.
As the breakfast is included in the room price it would appear that we have to be happy with what we're given.....

Pros:

A fantastic find for us when we wanted to stay for one night before getting the ferry to Calais. We even joined in the quiz in the pub below.

Pros:

Little gem of a B&B come locals pub nestled in a very lovely residential area. Staff and locals welcomed us and we all had a fantastic stay. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, who catered for all our needs.

Highly recommended if you need a stay for an early morning ferry.

Aardige ervaring.
Pros:

Erg vriendelijk personeel. Lekker ontbijt in een originele pub. Kamer was voorzien van een mooie badkamer en er was een hoek met koffie en thee. Ideale locatie voor een vroege oversteek met de ferry naar Calais.

Cons:

De kamer was erg warm door een paar hete dagen. Geen airco. En met het raam open slapen was rumoerig vanwege de uitgang van de pub. Al met al zijn we een ervaring rijker.

Sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Sehr nettes Personal. Ruhig gelegen. Trotz kleiner Zimmer war alles vorhanden.

Lovely country pub friendly and welcoming. I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.
Pros:

The location was perfect for us visiting relatives. The decor was lovely modern country pub. Friendly staff and good breakfast to start the day.

Cons:

Stairs were really steep which my husband found difficult. Central light fittings in bedrooms I felt were too big. And the bathroom ceiling needs looking at in room 2 as the wallpaper was coming down by the shower .

Friendly quaint experience
Pros:

All the staff were most helpful and very welcoming as well as hard working. The area of River was just so delightful. The locals were all very friendly.

Cons:

The only downside was the ill-fitting toilet seat.
It could do with a better fan to cool the room.i

Le pub pas l´hôtel .pub sympathique et nourriture très bonne. Personnel ok

Cons:

Accueil moyen et très, très compliqué. accès à la chambre compliqué avec des bagages. Chambre microscopique même pas une table. Salle de bain lavabo microscopique, on se lave les mains et de l´eau partout...
Très bruyant toute la soirée, impossible de travailler... montée d´escalier et dégagement peu soignés
Et très cher.
