A modern hotel situated directly on the waterfront.
Pros:

Clarion Hotel The Pier is a modern hotel with a number of small visual surprises and interesting design details. We received a very warm welcome and were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a room on the top floor. The view over the harbor was excellent.

The breakfast was equally impressive — plentiful and delicious. Parking should be reserved and paid for in advance. The parking garage is located beneath the hotel and is accessed via a long ramp. All parking spaces were equipped with EV chargers, which we made use of during our stay.

The room itself was somewhat small, but comfortable and cozy.

Cons:

Receiving the upgrade to the top floor was not entirely without drawbacks. The restaurant was located on the same floor, and the constant bass-heavy music from its speakers could be heard and felt in our room through the building structure, which was somewhat disturbing.

The hotel immediately offered us the possibility of changing rooms, but by that point we had already settled in, and structure-borne noise can travel surprisingly far in buildings, so we decided not to move. The staff were genuinely apologetic about the situation, and fortunately the disturbance ended at around 11:00 PM.

In the end, we were able to get a good night’s sleep.

Sehr gepflegtes Hotel mit freundlichem hilfsbereitem Personal. Schöne Lage mit kostenloser Fährverbindung zur Innenstadt.

Cons:

Es war nicht klar, dass es sich um ein innenliegendes Zimmer mit lediglich einem schmalen Oberlicht zum Innenhof handelt. Das sollte bei der Buchung deutlich angemerkt werden. Zudem war der ohnehin dunkle Raum sehr schlecht beleuchtet.

Pros:

Fremragende morgenmad
Selvom det virker afsides, så kan man tage færge eller bus ind til byen nemt. Færgen er 5 min. fra hovedindgangen på gåben
Dejlige senge og godt værelse

Cons:

Der manglede bedre kommunikation ift. parkering. Vigtigt at booke på forhånd, da der ikke er plads til alle. Der er alternativer tæt på, men uanset om det er hotellet eller andet, så er det dyrt.

Tolles Hotel, überaus freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet, bequeme Betten, gute Lage( nur wenige Schritte zur kostenfreien Fähre).

Cons:

Nicht genügend Parkplätze auf hauseigenem Parkplatz. Hohe Parkgebühr auf öffentlichem Parkplatz in der Nähe.

Tolles Hotel
Pros:

Freddy, der Rezeptionist war super.
Das Design des Hauses war hervorragend, klar, wenn man neben dem Geely-Design-Center angesiedelt ist.

Cons:

Zwar liegt das Hotel in einer exponierten Lage, aber im Umkreis dessen gibt es keine Restaurants (das hoteleigene war geschlossen) deswegen musste man leider zum Essen mit der Fähre nach Göteborg. An sich kein Problem, aber die Fähren fahren nur bis acht Uhr abends.

Das Hotel ist sehr modern und geschmackvoll. Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Die Frühstücksauswahl ist sehr groß, es ist wirklich für jeden etwas dabei.
