Last minute airport near LGA due to flight issues; does the job but not my first choice.
Pros:

Location and I had to book night of since my LGA flight got cancelled last minute. So glad that they had availability to accommodate me, but not my first choice. Front desk staff was very nice.

Cons:

Smelled faintly of smoke (maybe from outside), walls thin can hear a lot of noise from outside/hallway at random times in the night, elevator slow. Really expensive for what it is, but probably bc I booked last minute.

Cons:

Upon arrival, the property and room was in poor condition — dilapidated, dingy, and significantly different from the photos and description listed on Booking.com. Specifically: mildew smell in room, very loud noise from street and hallway and other rooms. Given the state of the property, I was unable to stay and left 5 min after arrival.

I only slept 1 night and for that it was ok.
Pros:

Staff were very polite.

Cleanliness can be improved. Curtains were torn and my room was bit noisy.

A well situated comfortable hotel room that by New York standards is reasonably priced.
Pros:

The property was well located for me in Astoria. Everything that I wanted to get to was quite walkable. I was not expecting a really plush room but it is a perfectly serviceable comfortable enough room.

Cons:

I really have no complaints about anything that came with the hotel. Anybody staying in New York knows they're going to pay a lot of money for a hotel room and this was no different but I found it to be one of the least expensive but even then don't think that it's cheap!

Yelling in the streets, screeching tires, fireworks until 3am all over. Dirty towels, cheap beds.
