We had a great time - felt very safe. Would easily recommend this to others.
Pros:

Room was large, up to date, very clean, comfortable. Breakfast was very good - cinnamon rolls were amazing. Adequate choices. My friend and I really. enjoyed the patio with the fire pit. I

Cons:

I would prefer waffles over the pancakes offered.

The hotel was in a great location for what I needed. Easy to locate and get in and out of.

Cons:

The staff was not very helpful. Upon arrival I was told that they did not have any key cards and I would need to leave and come back. after a 7 hour drive to get there all I wanted to do was get checked in to relax. I had to leave and come back hours later to be able to check in. In the middle of the night the fire alarm went off two separate times, which was not convenient and caused little sleep but I could understand. The housekeepers began vacuuming the carpets in the hallway and banging on doors shortly after 8am. After a restless night I was hoping to have a quiet morning that never happened. When I mentioned these things at checkout I was told the woman at the desk was rude. Probably one of the worst says I've had in a long time, especially for the amount I paid to stay there.

Location, decor & room.size were great.

Cons:

1st room had air conditioner problems & throwing error codes. The second room bathroom was not clean. Beds were really uncomfortable. Air conditoner seems to adjust or only run on its own timing, and not to what you set it for. Especially at night.
It comes on when it wants to. Couldn't get the fan to run on the air conditioner to keep air circulating. The lights in room had a short in it and came on and off on its own.Breakfast was just ok. The gravy is the worst ever. They need to choose a different gravy product. Biscuits were great. Cinnamon rolls were decent. The breakfast staff was pleasant and stayed busy cleaning & replenishing the buffet.

Just an average stay. Clean and comfortable room.

Close to Downtown South Haven

Cons:

There was not a coffee pot in the room. There was a sign that said you could request one from the front desk. But there was rarely anyone at the front desk.

The location and breakfast

Cons:

My comforter has a big and very noticeable stain. I was SO excited to stay here as the front desk was so kind, everything looked fresh and clean. UNTIL I did my bed check. It’s very disheartening to see a gross stain on the bed you are supposed to sleep in. I actually went out and bought a new blanket as I felt very uncomfortable even just laying the in the bed not sure how many more possible stains I was missing if something extremely obvious had been missed.
