Pros:

L'accueil, le lieu était assez agréable même s'il était isolé

Cons:

Frigo assez vétuste et la vaisselle mériterait d'être renouvelée. La plaque de cuisson est limite. Attention l'escalier est vraiment très pentu pour accéder à la chambre.

Pros:

Toller Ort, eingebettet in alten Baumbestand. Sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeber, schöner Aussenbereich.

Cons:

Die Installationen sind zum Teil recht Abenteuerlich. Der Heißwasserboiler hatte ein Leck und dampfte und zischte. Und ein Zimmer roch etwas muffig, dort tropfte auch das Abflussrohr.

Pros:

The apartments are in the middle of the forest, where you can find a very quiet environment. Also very useful bikes were provided for free to reach Chemuyil. The place was also very clean and well furnished.

Cons:

This location is very isolated and a bit far from Chemuyil that distances 1.2 km. The road is very dark by night and one could feel unsafe. Also problematic if you have a big luggage to carry there: the only option becomes taxi that is very expensive in that area.

Pros:

The place is striking and the rooms look as they did online. The air conditioning worked well. Occasionally the water stopped, only for about a minute but when you are showering…The kitchen is very pretty and has a great stove but only one small pan, one small pot, nothing with covers for cooking (perhaps the usual crowd eats out all the time?). Perfect for 3 days, one of which we spent out. Good wi-fi.

Pros:

We loved this oasis. The privacy. Quiet. Peaceful. Five or more cenotes close by. Chemuyil is wonderful. We had a private meal for a beautiful celebration. Groceries & shopping near by in Tulum. Laid by the pool every day. Cooked our meals at home. Ride the bikes provided back & forth to town. Wonderful wonderful. We’ll be back.

Cons:

Getting nit picky… we could of used a larger refrigerator. And more hot water in the shower.

Pros:

We had the good fortune to spend two months at Casa Maria. We did not have a car so we would walk into town to get our supplies. We would take collectivos to view other parts of the coast like Tulum or Playa del Carmen. We stayed in the two bedroom two bathroom apartment. The apartment was well stocked with cooking tools. There is no washing machine so we either brought our laundry to town or hand washed. The floor to ceiling windows were amazing and were all screened. The daily breeze was fantastic so we never had to use the air conditioner. Alejandro and Jordi were always available if we had questions or needed help. They are very friendly and kind. Two cats live on the property and we enjoyed having them around. The jungle around the apartment is filled with life. The birds are incredible. We loved walking the various roads around the Casa. All so interesting. We loved our stay and would definitely come back.
