An extremely distressing experience involving serious privacy concerns and issues that were not clearly communicated at

Nothing in particular. Unfortunately, my overall experience was very negative and distressing.

Cons:

I had a very serious and distressing experience at this property. My reservation had ended and I was trying to extend my stay, but I was extremely unwell and physically unable to get out of bed.

At around 12:10 PM, while I was asleep, several people from the property entered my closed room while I was completely undressed. They entered my room twice. The first time, several people entered and tried to wake me up, and they left after approximately 10 minutes. The second time, they returned with even more people, entered the room again, and approached my bed while I was still asleep and undressed. They recorded me without my consent and filmed the room and my personal belongings. I was also threatened with police involvement and threatened that the video they had recorded of me would be shared if I did not wake up and leave.

After I eventually left the property, they initially refused to return my $300 deposit and told me that they would not return any of it. I strongly disputed this and refused to leave the reception area until my deposit was returned. After a dispute with the staff, they eventually returned the full amount.

Another issue was that visitors were not allowed at the property, but this restriction was not clearly stated when I made my reservation on Booking.com. My friend, who had a separate apartment at the property, also experienced problems with the property, including repeated knocking on his door for cleaning even after he had clearly told them several times that he did not want cleaning.

After my friend posted a review about his own experience, the property contacted him through WhatsApp and asked him to remove the review. They then threatened to share the video they had recorded of me inside my room while I was asleep and undressed if he did not remove his review. My friend had screenshots of the conversation and told them that he had documented the messages and would report the matter to Booking.com.

A special thank you to Sümeyye, Osman, and Hamza for their kindness, professionalism, and exceptional service. They were always friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and they made sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay.

The staff truly made us feel at home. I really appreciate their efforts and would be very happy to stay here again on my next visit to Istanbul.

Dishonest , and broken doors , horrible experience worst I saw with Booking.con
Pros:

Location was good near my conference. The room was like a small flat good space.

Cons:

The hotel is compound of flats separate from the reception. The room I took was500 m away from reception. The room door lock was broken and I asked them to fix it 3 times and they could not fix it.

The worst thing is that staff are not honest and so managers. They told Booking.com I am already on the room while I stayed in the street until 12:00z they even refused to cancel my booking and too my money.
