Pros:

Extremely clean and the onsen was such a great experience. The staff remembered my birthday (the day after check in) and wished me a happy Birthday!

Cons:

A bit "sterile". No access from room to outdoors. Would love to have had a garden or even patio to enjoy. Expensive for the site.

Soothing the senses
Pros:

Room design elegant and spacious. Lovely onsen. Overall aesthetic gorgeous -modern Japanese.

Cons:

No evening meal but not hard to find one nearby. Only 2 storeys but no lift -which is tricky after biking 50kms and elderly.

Hotel itself was fantastic! Very spacious rooms by Japan standards and friendly staff.

Pleasant surprise
Pros:

Amazing. Great rooms, public baths and common room area to relax in. Very accommodating and helpful staff.

Cons:

Couldn’t check in before 4pm. After cycling 26 miles it would have been lovely to have had our from earlier.
