The hotel is very dated and in need of renovations.

The room was not clean. We had sheets with stains and didn’t look like they were washed at all. The bathroom tiles in the shower had lots of black mold and in need of a refresh.

It did the trick for the night. Wouldn’t go back. said you’re expecting anything more than very bare minis this place is
Pros:

Easy to get to. Had tv with access to our netflix. Good air conditioner. Quiet for sleeping, local to town amenities.

Cons:

Had to park at back entrance and lug all our stuff up 3 flight of stairs. Very dirty carpets, very dated, no staff at front desk, no one to help if we needed anything, didn’t check our ID when we got room keys from bar staff at the restaurant, requested a fan and was asked why “ wasn’t our air conditioning working”. I said yes i just like a fan to sleep. Said they would ask someone to bring me one up and no one ever came.
Hairs between bedsheets, blood stains on one of pillows, mold on shower wall and a bathroom floor around tub, bathroom sink was clogged and filled with water when we ran tap.
Hotel felt creepy and old.

Pros:

Not much.

Cons:

Loud music from bar downstairs. Not informed. Man with our room key who walked in. Big set of stairs no one to drag my luggage up and I am a senior. More of everything. Dirty. Mould in the bathroom. T.V. parts still on the counter

Don’t be deceived by the nice pictures.
Pros:

Good location.

Cons:

Garbage from previous occupants still in garbage can. No one available at the check in….had to go to the bar/restaurant next door to check in…very long wait as there was only 1 waitress and she was busy serving customers. No tv in the room (brought a tv in later). Mould in the bathroom. Light fixture for the shower was hanging off (safety hazard). Bathroom sink took a very long time to drain. Floor was not flat…slanted. Paper thin walls - could hear the guests next door.

Great Hotel
Pros:

An old hotel but very nicely renovated. Rooms aren’t fancy but very clean and nicely set up. Includes fridge, tv. Wifi, Kleenex, Good friendly staff., terrific food at restaurant. We will be back! No complaints .we keep returning.its very central free parking and to walk all the wonderful shops.

Price is good so no complain
Pros:

When I arrived, the rooms were not close to each other and the staff was very kind to change that for us.

Cons:

Beds are old. curved and not so comfortable. One of the room wasn't used for a long time and we see dust on furniture.

Was ok hotel but it could use a little TLC.
Pros:

Close to everything

Cons:

A little out dated, thin towels, dirty bathroom floor, pillows too thin, toilet tank lid cracked, rip in curtain, not many channels on tv.

Not Happy
Cons:

I phoned the Bedford early on the evening and asked how late I was able to check in, I was told it didn't matter I could check in 24/7, just call the number on the door. Arrived around 1am, no answer, tried to call for two hours, never got in. I up spending more then double the money I paid, and taking a taxi 20 minutes each way with my young daughter. Spending an extra $300 that was unexpected two days before Christmas was upsetting. Im an only parent of 3, money is tight. I returned the next day and they appolgized, said I had to contact booking for a refund which I have and no reply. I've been a customer at the Bedford for more than 20 years, stayed there multiple times yearly. Not happy with the new owners, the last owners this would not of happened. The owner is an errogant prick, will not be staying there ever again. I believe I deserve a refund for there mistake.

It was not the most comfortable because of how dirty and not well maintained it was

Cozy and old fashion in a nice way.
Pros:

The hotel design inside and out. Not having elevator is not so nice, but the stairs are like traveling in time. Breakfast is nice and offered in a beautiful room.

Cons:

Loud music around until 2am. We found a bee in the bedroom and we had to clean up some spiders webs on the wall. TV was not working, they solved the problem but took a time. Their priority is the bar on the bottom floor. Reception is empty most of the time, and we had to go to the bar to get our request attend.
