The owner and employees are very friendly and willing to help. The location is nice. The price was low.

Cons:

Our “standard” rooms did not have windows to the outside, instead the windows opened to a sort of light shaft. Therefore there was almost no light and no fresh air in the room. My window opened right onto the outside units for the ac. It was very very warm in our rooms even though it was 8 degrees Celsius outside. I had to run the ac in order to sleep. My toilet stopped working every day. The owner helped my find a temporary solution but it wasn’t fixed permanently. A wall tile was missing in my bathroom. There was a used bar of soap in my shower with hairs on it. There is no WiFi in the hotel.

Pros:

Very good place for living in Istanbul. Everything is close to the hotel - bars, stores, tram T1, restaurants, pharmacies and etc. Hotel is clean and nice. Not so much noise from the street, only at the daytime people talking outside. All workers are very nice. Especially Ibrahim and Saad. They took care of me all the time and helped me with any issue. I am really thankful for such hospitality. I wish this place prosperity and happiness to their workers and owners 🫶🏻

Genoa Port Hotel is as good as it can get for the price you pay.
Pros:

The best part about this property is the location. In my opinion Karakoy is the best area to stay in if you want to explore Istanbul. It is close to tram stations, ferry stations and metro stations. And it’s also 3 minutes from the sea. It’s a lively area with lots of bars and restaurants, but what surprised me was that in the room it was very quiet and nothing disturbed our sleep. The staff were polite and helpful. There’s a 24h reception desk that can offer help with anything you need. Genoa Port Hotel was an amazing find for the price we paid.

Billiges Hotel, das auch genauso aussieht.
Pros:

Die Lage war gut, sehr zentral, wenngleich in einer Seitengasse. Der Besitzer/die Betreiber waren hilfreich bei unserer Buchung, scheinbar gab es da vorab Probleme.

Cons:

Wir haben die Unterkunft bereits letztes Jahr gebucht. 5 Einzelzimmer. Bei unserer Ankunft wurde uns jedoch gesagt, dass sie nur 4 Zimmer hätten und diese sich in einem anderen Hotel um die Ecke befinden. Angeblich wurde das Hotel nach unserer Buchung verkauft und die Reservierungen wurden nicht bekanntgegeben.

Ich halte das alles für Blabla und vermute, dass sie ihre Buchungen einfach nicht im Griff hatten. Nachdem ich mich darüber beschwert habe, dass wir 5 Zimmer brauchen, konnten sie dann auch noch eines im ursprünglichen Hotel auftreiben und darin habe ich übernachtet.

Es war im Grunde okay, aber nicht besonders sauber. Das Bad hat gestunken und von Vorgästen gab es noch unzählige Haare in allen Ecken. Die Betten war auch nicht besonders bequem.

Le logement est superbe, belle rénovation, de belles hauteurs sous plafond. C’est tout neuf.
La location est top on pouvait tout faire à pied
