Zero customer service. Bellman made us take our own luggage to our room. Half the time no front desk person. Really bad considering the cost of this property. Location was downtown but sadly very loud from street noise. I won’t stay here ever again.
Beautiful building close to the convention center and other 'main attractions' in downtown SLC. Staff was exceedingly friendly, rooms were clean and aesthetically pleasing (not to mention comfy!), and the amenities were outstanding. The hotel helped me celebrate my birthday which was very unexpected and very much appreciated :) Would stay here again in a heartbeat if visiting SLC!
The hotel is lovely and conveniently situated for a variety of things. The pool area is fantastic and we loved our stay there.
Nicely located hotel in Center of city. Good people and great hospitality
Comfortable beds, modern & clean and the Illy espresso machine in the room is great!
Located in a convenient area of the city, rooms are clean and spacious. Staff is friendly which makes the stay enjoyable.
Nice design
Ok stay, many opportunities to improve, hope the administration sees those opportunities
wonderful week long stay to visit doctor-son who is completing his medical training.
loved hotel vibe - drinks at roof top bar; pool; restaurant was super for breakfast and one dinner; efficient and friendly staff.
all good….
great place, awesome rooftop bar
This property never disappoints when I am in town. Erin at the front desk that checked me out was amazing. The young lady that checked me in was amazing. Property is beautiful and clean. Close to freeway.
I was so impressed with the staff. They took care of all my adoration and adjusted accommodations for me. The place is beautiful.
I received excellent service for my staycation here! It was a great location central between The Gateway and City Creek and I was able to enjoy a lovely breakfast in the hotel restaurant each morning. Thank you.
Clean and comfortable

Gorgeous room! Looks exactly as depicted at time of booking. I was very happy with the overall aesthetic and cleanliness of the entire hotel including my room.
On my trip I had a horrible episode and was sick but the not contagious kind. The hotel staff was so very incredibly supportive in what was a terrible feeling when so far from home. One of the front desk folks even called before their shift to check on me, see if I needed to go to urgent care or the hospital I had asked about earlier and brought up a delivery of some anti nausea items from uber. That’s a quality and kindness that comes from the core of a person. It was so lovely and made a difference for me in a really difficult day.
The housekeeping team too helped above and beyond.
Foam pillows and feather are ok but not supportive. I had to use quite a few.
The mobile key I could not get to work my entire stay on the door to my room. I’ve been able to use it before at other properties so not sure if it was the door, my phone or a tech issue. Mobile and physical key both worked in the elevator to get to my floor.
TV and logging into Netflix worked great no issues.
Some nights I could hear some music drifting not sure if from a restaurant or bar in the building or nearby. Finished up around 11pm or so. Wasn’t bumping loud but I was aware of it.
If you’re ordering delivery or courier you need to go and pick it up in the lobby on the table to the left of the front desk.
Around check in time each day the front desk has some treats out. There is a hyacinth basket for Bonvoy member checking out to drop their key cards into.
Pool is fabulous. I used it most days. It is heated to between 90-95 Fahrenheit and made for a pleasant swim and floating time. The pool is 3 feet to 3 ft 7in deep. Deck upstairs is beautiful both the view and aesthetics of the furniture.
Would absolutely stay at again and recommend.
Everything was great except the ceiling in my room was not finished.
They use SEO's They are liars.
The hotel is in a good location. The bed/room was comfortable .The amenities are nice. The restaurant, Adelaide, served a nice breakfast. Would stay again.
For whatever reason, Salt Lake City falls short on good hotels. They need a high-mid level design hotel like The Hoxton or Soho House, since they now have the demographic to support it. The old guard hotels are way out of date and not enjoyable. But the Meridien is clean, well designed and chic - especially for SLC. The rooms feel immaculate, the sheets and duvet are fresh and clean (which is rare), and the bar upstairs has a great view.
