Living room furniture is worn and should be replaced.

This property was a nightmare from start to finish. Firstly, there was ZERO communication or replies from the property, and their phone number listed does not work to even call them. I had no automated message upon booking, and even when asking multiple questions before arrival, we still had NO reply. This is so stressful when you're trying to organise a weekend away. I even had Booking.com tried to contact them and they had no reply.
The property didn't even send us a message on how or where to check in, or what to do. We ended up having to talk to the restaurant manager downstairs who apparently runs the bookings and checks you in (but does not use booking.com so they will not monitor messages).
Once finally in, even though the apartment had been cleaned, towels from the previous guests had been left scrunched in a ball and shoved into a cupboard. There was no iron, no welcome pack or wi-fi code, chipped mugs, locks on the windows were hanging off, breakfast bar 'stools' were actually just normal sized armchairs so totally unusable to sit at the counter. The tables on the terrace were so old, dirty and full of bird muck. This whole place had such a lack of attention to detail. It just screams that the owner of the building probably hasn't set foot in this place for years, and as long as a clean is done post check out, and they get their money, they're happy.
To make matters worse, there is a nightclub next door which is open til 4am. The property description says the building is soundproof which is a lie. None of us slept that night as the bass music was so loud.
For a place that is £300pn, you can get something SO much better elsewhere.

We asked for late checkout and were told 1300hrs was okay. At 1200hrs the cleaner let themselves in downstairs which was a bit of a shock and kind of ruined the last few hours of our stay. The cleaner then asked me to contact the owner to tell them that they would have to clean themselves as she needed to be elsewhere. I couldn't get hold of the owner after this.

No furniture! No barstools for kitchen counter and 1 x 2 seater sofa for an apartment that sleeps 4 adults. Luckily the restaurant below loaned us 2 x chairs. No remote for the lounge tv and bedroom one not working.

Just a few maintenance items:
1 of the yellow sofas is broken. The springs have come out so the bottom has literally fallen through.
The ashtray on the balcony was dirty. We are non smokers so it was pretty gross. And the locks on the balcony doors need to be fixed. Either the top or bottom of the ones in the lounge work. Not a security issue but it impacts overall Impressions. But as mentioned will be happy to book again.

No check in info prior to arrival. Very difficult to find as no external signage, but we just asked in ‘The Terrace’ bar /restaurant & turns out , they run the apartments & showed us how to get in.
VERY noisy club in basement underneath apartments -until 4AM! Didn’t worry us but something to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper or have children with you. We were there on a Saturday night though
Kitchen not very clean & rubbish left in cupboard by previous guests.

Noisy - Very noisy as the apartment is over a club down below, which closed at 2am. So it was impossible to sleep. Even after the club closed, other residents where playing music loudly.
Safety - the apartment has a shared terrace. The terrace is accessible through french doors throughout the apartment. However, the french doors in the living room had a broken latch and would not close properly. When we woke in the morning the doors where were open. Additionally, in the morning I found that the main entrance door that leads out to the street was not shut properly meaning anyone could have come in.
Cleanliness - the apartment needs a deep clean. While the bed and surfaces were clean, the windows, corners, skirting boards and walls where dirty. Inside the kitchen drawers where very dirty and we took a spin out of the drawer to find it was called in what looked like dried hummus or something? The sheets where clean on the bed, but the cushions and throws where actually very filthy with strange stains and smelled like they needed a good wash.

There is excessive noise due to the bar and there is a nightclub which will play music until 3-4am on Fridays and Saturdays so a good night's sleep is not guaranteed.
The apartment was also not very clean.

The ceiling in the bathroom leaked ( from the upstairs apartment) .
Door to access the terrace felt highly insecure .

It was noisy, hot (91 Fahrenheit when we arrived) and dirty, old empty cans of Red Bulls in cupboards for instance. Lots of stairs which was not good for my Dad who was traveling with us and it was not obvious from the description.

The location was quite noisy

There was a lot of noise from the bar downstairs, it didn't bother us but maybe something to be aware of if you can't sleep through noise.
