Never again - worst Marriott Bonvoy property
Pros:

If you’re looking for a fairly-priced Marriott property that has good service, KEEP LOOKING. The price, along with the “resort fee” or whatever they call it is ridiculous and does not match the tiny room size and the underwhelming HVAC system. The air conditioner does not go below 74 degrees in the hotter months although it reads 65 - and when you request an engineer, someone shows up and barks “What?” In a clearly exasperated tone. If you want to go order a coffee, the chef will tell you to go to the server, the server will tell you to go to the bar keeper and the bar keeper will ask why you couldn’t ask the server. Let’s just say I did not get coffee - and did not use the $20 “coupon” they gave me because it was practically worthless. This is, by far, the worst Marriott I have stayed at, let alone the worst Le Meredien. Avoid like the plague.

Great Hotel

Great hotel with friendly staff and immaculate rooms. I came for business for a single night, and the room was perfect. Clean, modern and very nice. Not huge. I was greeted by friendly staff, the check-in was quick. I received a couple of coupons that I used at the Italian restaurant associated with the hotel, although I received the food through room service. It’s nice and rare that a hotel even has room service, but they did. The bathroom was modern, clean and did I say immaculate? It was. The location may not be the greatest as it is not on Times Square, but the price was reasonable and it probably is a short taxi drive or walk to tourist attractions. Also the area is pretty quiet. I do not give rave reviews to all hotels but this one deserved it.

Le Meridian on 5th.... gets 5 stars!
Pros:

First, I must say how amazing the staff is at this hotel, all driven by Anthony, the hotel manager. Exceptional service and care. I stayed for 10 days, and although the room might be a little small (hey, its NYC what do you expect??) the walk in show, large tub and bathroom was outstanding. The bed was super comfy, with a view of 5th avenue. Food was 5 stars, yes, I was surprised as well. Breakfast & the Italian restaurant for dinner was superb... order the veal parmigiana. One complaint, the restaurant/lobby bar closes at 11pm, and yes they ask you to leave even if you aren't finished with your drink. That needs to be addressed.
