Evanthia Cave Suites

Our stay at Evanthia Cave Hotel in Cappadocia was an unforgettable experience, and I can't recommend it enough. We are a couple from Australia and From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. Ozzy, the owner, is an incredibly friendly and warm person who truly goes above and beyond for his guests. He greeted us with a big smile and made sure we felt at home throughout our stay. His attention to detail and care really set the tone for our trip.
The staff were just as wonderful—super helpful, always with a smile.
The room itself was everything we hoped for—cozy, clean, and comfortable, with a unique cave-style design that made it feel extra special. The room had all the essentials, plus little touches that made it feel like a home away from home. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring.
And then there was the breakfast—it was truly one of the best we’ve had. Fresh, delicious, and with so many options, from local cheeses and olives to freshly baked bread
The location of the hotel was also perfect. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the main town, so we could easily pop out for food or drinks in the evening, but it was still peaceful and quiet at the hotel itself. You get the best of both worlds: a tranquil retreat and quick access to the local scene.
Overall, our experience at Evanthia Cave Hotel was incredible. The combination of Ozzy's hospitality, the amazing staff, the comfortable rooms, and the fantastic breakfast made this a standout stay. If you’re visiting Cappadocia, don’t hesitate to book a stay here—you won’t be disappointed. We’ll definitely be back!

Very unique property. We enjoyed our stay here. The location is very good and close to many facilities. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was very good. We enjoyed our stay here and would like to stay here again.

Very authentic looking hotel, looking like a cave accommodation.
We arrived there at 8 pm, nobody was in reception... just a cat 😆
Eventually a young man arrived, whose English language skills were poor. He was friendly, showed us to our room. 2 single beds, fridge that didn't work, TV didn't work. Turned out that the TV was rationed to earlier timing, and then unavailable. I guess that was in aid of not disturbing other guests, but we weren't made aware of that. The TV suddenly sprang into action in the morning.
Breakfast was at 8.30, thankfully our tour pick up was at 10 for that day.
The following day we had to get to the airport at 7.45, requiring a packed breakfast, which was supplied with gelp of our guide from the previous day.
Breakfast in the hotel was typical Turkish cuisine, no choice, it was served.

Unique property in Urgup. We loved the roof top terrace. The breakfast was excellent. The stone construction was so much in keeping with the local area. The town centre was an easy walk.

If we could give 6/5 we would. The care and pride this beautiful family have for their heritage listed hotel is spot on. When we arrived we were instantly upgraded. Our rooms were clean and decorated with sophistication. The bed was very comfortable. Even though you are in a cave, there is no musty smell.
The breakfast was fresh with a great mix of vegetables, cheeses and great eggs.
We had dinner on one night. Lovely Turkish food. As for the staff, very friendly and eager to meet our needs. Ozzie especially was a gem.

Il primo giorno non stavo molto bene e ho chiesto se potevano prepararmi del riso, i ragazzi sono stati molto gentili e hanno preparato riso, verdura, yogurt e frutta per me, mio marito e mia figlia.
Ho apprezzato molto la loro gentilezza e la loro attenzione.

bellissima struttura, praticamente a due passi dal centro di urgup. Veramente consigliata. Colazione servita al tavolo. Atmosfera molto rilassata ed elegante.

The hotel is beautiful, well-maintained, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated — everything was very comfortable, especially the bed! The staff was extremely helpful and attentive from the very first contact, assisting me with everything I needed and even recommending great restaurants before I arrived.

The location is excellent: it's an easy walk to the town center. And the rooftop… what an incredible view! It’s impossible not to fall in love with the Cappadocia landscape from up there.

It was a special stay, and I would definitely return. Highly recommended!
