Awful experience
Pros:

It was located where I wanted just inside the border. After a long day of travel, I just wanted to crash.

Cons:

Was notified a couple days before we were slated to arrive- that the could not honor our reservation. So they rebooked us at an affiliate and we were supposed to have a comparable room. (Hotel Terme). I originally booked a two bedroom suite to make sure we all had beds. They tried to jam us into one regular room by using a hard sofa bed and adding a cot. This was not at all comparable to what I had reserved. And the hotel was not even busy. I had to go to the desk twice to complain as the first person couldn’t authorize anything else. So I had to wait another 30 minutes for the night staff to arrive. He also had to call a manager to get reluctant approval to give us a second room, so we at least all had beds. The rooms they gave us were on the first floor and then when it rained, there was a sewer smell permeating throughout the room. Gross. But after complaining twice, and being exhausted, I couldn’t imagine packing up and moving again. So we passed out that night. Woke up the next morning and had breakfast (which was pretty good) and left. I also was notified that the Castle Mokrice had a data breach and my private information was exposed.

Vriendelijke dame aan onthaal
Lekker beperkt ontbijt

Cons:

Ik had meer kasteelvibes verwacht. Kasteel is sterk in verval en in het park ligt het vol vuilnis van eerdere trouwfeesten.
