The staff and the facilites were great
This was like an incredibly expensive youth hostel, the rooms were so basic, Dark little holes I litteraly had to walk around with a torch, the lights didn't work properly, neither did the aircon, the working spaces were great, but next time I'll stay somewhere else and just go work int he open cafe, this was rediculously expensive for what it was in the rooms. I didn't like it at all.
El desayuno siempre se lleva los aplausos!. la estadía como nos tiene acostumbrados, con habitaciones autosuficientes, limpias y un ambiente muy muy agradable.

The location was great for us - it's right by the Palace and perhaps a 20 minute walk to Central Madrid. We walked all the way across town and back. The facility was fresh, clean, well managed with friendly service - highly recommended. Even the parking lot (car park) was great -- you can actually maneuver in the garage, a rarity in many parts of Europe.
We have no complaints.

I appreciated the hotel's location near a big street but also very near the centre Plaza de Espana and Palazzo Reale, the very friendly and helpful reception staff, and the modern, youthful atmosphere. The mattress was very comfortable. I think it offers good value for money.
On the other hand my room was excessively dark with very dim lighting. Being located on the ground floor, we were unable to keep the curtains open due to the pedestrian walkway outside. The cleaning service requires improvement regarding both its organization (cleaning at 4 PM when guests return to rest is highly inconvenient) and the staff's politeness and availability.
