Tout. En arrivant, vous sentirez une odeur très apaisante. Le complexe était magnifique de la chambre jusqu’à l’extérieur, tout est décoré avec soin.
Le personnel est d’une attention familiale, nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison.
Un grand merci à Youssef, Mustafa et toute l’équipe, pour ce séjour inoubliable proche des dunes du Sahara.

The staff was amazing, the facilities were A+, the food generous servings and best we had in Morocco. Perfect hotel for families or a couple get away. My children loved the pool and the staff was amazing with them.

Voor ons is Sunrise Palace Merzouga zonder twijfel het beste hotel van Marokko.
Vanaf de eerste stap in de prachtige entree voel je de luxe en warme sfeer. Onze kamer was stijlvol ingericht, ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien.
Wat dit hotel echt bijzonder maakt, is de persoonlijke aandacht. Het team is ontzettend gastvrij en zorgt ervoor dat het je aan niets ontbreekt. Je voelt je hier niet zomaar een gast, maar echt welkom.
Het ontbijt en diner waren heerlijk en met zorg bereid. En hoe bijzonder is het om te zwemmen in een zwembad met uitzicht op de zandduinen van de Sahara?
De eigenaar vertelde ons dat hij gasten een gevoel van thuis wil geven. Dat is hem absoluut gelukt. Een unieke plek waar luxe, rust en gastvrijheid perfect samenkomen.

We had an amazing stay at Sunrise Palace and truly felt at home from the moment we arrived.

We were a large group with guests of all ages, and Yousef, the owner, together with his brother Mohamed, made everything absolutely seamless. They were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind throughout our stay.

What made this place especially memorable was Yousef himself. He personally accompanied us in the evening to our special event in the middle of the desert and shared his life story with us — such an inspiring person. Hearing about his journey added a very special charm and authenticity to the whole experience.

The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and very cozy, with a lovely pool and fantastic food. The service was excellent, and the waiter was exceptionally kind and attentive. We genuinely felt at home here.

This is such a unique place, made even better by all the activities perfectly organized by Yousef and his family. We highly recommend the ATV buggy ride, camel rides at both sunrise and sunset, and the 4x4 desert tour — all unforgettable experiences.

If you are looking for a special desert stay with authentic hospitality, wonderful people, and perfectly organized experiences, Sunrise Palace is absolutely the place to stay. Highly recommended!

Huge rooms with A/C, great property to relax at and great attentive staff. We booked a night with them and they coordinated tours and a desert camp stay for us. Extremely attentive to make sure we had the best experience in their land.

Our stay at Sunrise Palace Merzouga felt like a complete oasis after a difficult experience in the Sahara. The team were incredibly accommodating — they welcomed us early after we left our previous camp and allowed us to use the facilities straight away, including the outdoor pool and lounge area, which was exactly what we needed.

They also kindly arranged lunch for us, despite it not being a standard offering at that time, which we really appreciated given the lack of nearby options.

The property itself is very well done, with a relaxing atmosphere and great amenities. If you are considering spending more than one night in Merzouga, we would recommend splitting your stay and including at least one night here. They can also organise camel rides directly from the hotel, which is a great option. For those wanting a desert experience without fully committing to a tent, their connected tented property is a good alternative.

Yousef and his small team were most welcoming and hospitable during our stay. You can feel the pride and passion they have for their home country and business at hello. Our transfer from the airport was most comfortable and we appreciated the attentiveness we received all around for all our requests and needs. Rooms were generous size and clean. The hot water for showers could be better however it might be comparable to what you will find in the area due to its remote location. Make sure you pack location as it was not offered. Meals were very generous portions.

Although the hotel wasn't super occupied during our stay, their team was relaxed and accommodating on both pre-planned and last-minute excursions we asked about. Sunset camel ride is a must as they take you to an excellent spot to marvel at the scale of the sand dunes.

We unfortunately were unable to maximize all the amenities during our stay due to cooler, windy weather conditions. We had hoped to relax in the pool and enjoy the fire pit at night. Note you will have to drive out to a darker location to fully experience the starry sky.

The staff took great care of our family, we are grateful for all the assistance they provided for drop-offs and pickups. All the properties around the area require special vehicles so regular transfer services must remain at a standard pickup point, close to the main road. Providing a GPS coordinate location for that spot would be most helpful.

Die lange Fahrt von Marrakesch dorthin hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Die Lage ist einmalig, ebenso die Architektur des Hotels mit dem Pool und den Terrassen inmitten der Sahara-Sanddünen. Hinzu kommt der super freundliche Service von Moha und seinem Team einschließlich des sehr guten Kochs. Unbedingt empfehlenswert!
