Good sized room, large well-equipped bathroom. Close to the sea and nice places to eat.
Matter of opinion really, the bed was very firm in the room and had a slight slope!
They also don't seem to have an iron and ironing board available. They had a steamer, which wasn't too bad. But overall, a nice well-located hotel.

On entry to the hotel no person was on reception but they came quite quickly once the buzzer had been pushed. The member of staff who greeted Me was very friendly and helpful as we arrived earlier than expected. The room was large, clean and bright, bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows should you need them. Nice to see biscuits in the room with the tea and coffee. Bathroom was well stocked with toileteries and shower shampoo etc. Breakfast you had a good choice of cooked or cereal or both if you were hungry. Great location to walking around Plymouth, the Hoe or the Barbican would use again. And of course parking right outside the hotel.
Unfortunately communication at breakfast one morning meant they forgot my breakfast. The shelf in the bathroom was rusty and dust on top of the shower glass door frame

The only negative would be that the carpet in the room we stayed in could do with a clean, the rest of the room was excellently presented but the stained carpet let it down

Be advised I booked a delux room that happened to be in the basement at the back of the hotel in the overspill car park. Not my idea of Delux

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. Hot breakfasts were made to order (ordered the evening before) so were lovely and hot. There was also cereal, fruit, toast and yogurt available. Our room was lovely and clean.
We stayed in a triple deluxe room and although it was very clean, it was on the small size with a very small , but functional, bathroom. It was also a little noisy as it was right next to the rear car park/ hotel entrance. ( Proximity to rear car park made it easier to unload luggage.) The car park itself is very small and if you are one of the last cars to arrive, it is not easy to park. It was also completely blocked off when we returned to the hotel in the evening as a car had parked across the entrance. If you have an early start, let the hotel staff know in advance and ask for a parking spot at the front of the hotel as the hotel reception is unmanned over night. This wouldn't put us off staying here again though.
Excellent location close to the sea, close to the Barbican. Shops nearby. Lovely staff excellent breakfast, very clean room. The highlight being the walk in shower. Fantastic.
A very relaxing stay and parking was provided on site.
