Pros:

L’hôtel est dans un palais de XVIIIe qui est resté dans son jus et qui est incroyablement surprenant. L’étage a été aménagé en chambres simples mais propres. Vu la configuration architecturale, les sdb sont privatives mais hors de la chambre. Le personnel est très gentil et nous as permis de laisser facilement nos bagages. Petit dej très varié et dans une salle avec un plafond en fresque.

Cons:

Rien à dire. Agréablement surpris.

Classed as a budget hotel but nearly €200 for 2 nights was very overpriced.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

It was extremely hot weather and the aircon unit wasn’t great. First night was difficult to sleep as the room was so warm. There was no door on the shower which meant you ‘flooded’ the bathroom. There was no cold water from the tap in the sink.

Pros:

Bra läge, nära tåg och busstationen. Frukosten överraskade positivt. Typiska italienska sötsaker men även bröd och yoghurt. Gott kaffe!

L'ho scelto perchè era un albergo storico con delle belle foto

Cons:

Le foto o erano di trent'anni prima o erano modificate perchè l'albergo era quasi dappertutto fatiscente. Le stanze erano spartane quasi fosse un ostello, i bagni umidi e gli asciugamani puzzavano. Solo la sala colazione e la reception erano decenti. Appema arrivati di notte una lunga scalinata da affronare a piedi senza che ci abbiano avvisato. Arrivare in un cortile buio dove non ci sono indicazini in un posto che sembrava abbandonato dopo 12 ore di treno è stato demoralizzante. Attribuisco la responsabilitò anche a booking che non controlla ciò che propone. Un posto da eliminare.

A disappointing stay in an area that felt very unsafe.
Pros:

The receptionist was very cordial and welcoming. The room and bathroom were functional enough for basic needs, and the breakfast was simple but acceptable if you just need a cheap place to crash for a night or two.

Cons:

The hotel is housed in an old, deeply decaying palace that feels somewhat abandoned. The room felt like a prison cell due to the high white walls and complete lack of decoration, and the bed was uncomfortable.

The location is a major downside. The street is run-down, and the parallel streets felt highly unsafe—we even witnessed a man pointing a knife/sharp tool at others nearby. Palermo itself was chaotic, noisy, and extremely dirty, to the point where we cut our trip short and left early. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel for solo female travelers or groups of women looking to feel safe.

Bel hôtel atypique, bien placé mais mal insonorisé
Pros:

La propreté, petit déjeuner

Cons:

Salle de bain donnant sur la voisine au quel on ne peut pas fermer de volet et le rideau de douche , la chaleur dans cette pièce. L’insonorisation dans la chambre ( perso je prends des boules quies)
