Hotel idéal pour visiter le domaine de Waterloo

Accueil de Déborah et bonne communication qui nous a permit de prendre possession de notre chambre à 13h00 au lieu de 15h00

Bâtiment dans son jus
pas de vue de la chambre
Pas de climatisation (weekend très chaud) impossible de bien dormir malgré la fourniture de ventilateur et impossible de laisser les fenêtres ouvertes la nuit car "ventilation" extérieur bruyante.
Employés qui parlent entre eux en bas de la chambre après le service à 23h00-30.
Petit déjeuner un peu cher (17.90€) et quelques manquements à mon gout (yaourts, compotes, fromage blanc?)

If I was going to the Battlefield again I'd most certainly use 1815. Very comfortable and good value
Pros:

Great breakfast. Excellent location for the battlefield. Pleasant staff and welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Cons:

There were several people (Brits I think) making noise outside late into the night.

Waterloo ist für historisch Interessierte ein muss und das Hotel bietet eine gute Basis.
Pros:

Lage, Zimmer und Personal waren mehr als in Ordnung. Sauberkeit war klasse.

Cons:

Frühstück stand nicht im Verhältnis zum Preis. War lecker, aber die Auswahl lies zu wünschen übrig

Pros:

It was ideally located for the main purpose of our visit, namely to view the site of the battle of Waterloo. It's a good place to stay. It's not a luxury hotel, but it does not promote itself as such. But, it "does what it says on the tin"!

Great Base for the Battle of Waterloo
Pros:

This was the ideal base for walking to - and around - the battlefield and its sites. Our room was very comfortable; the bathroom had a proper (steel) bath. We didn’t dine in the hotel (there were no vegetarian options), but there was an Italian restaurant next door and a general bistro a 15-minute walk away. Breakfast was okay (albeit pricy) … but so noisy (see below). Plenty of parking and a good-sized garden in which to walk the dog.

Cons:

It was my misfortunate to have breakfast at the same time as some filming was taking place. It was a constant cavalcade of people walking back and forth, a bright light being shone and a cameraman bumping into my table. I appreciate that this would not be the norm!
