Nice comfortable hotel in a quiet area
Pros:

Good quiet location in Kyoto about 20 mins walk from the busy centre and about 15 mins from Kyoto station. The breakfast was very good and varied and the room was clean and comfortable. There was a smart TV in the room but you may need to speak to reception to access it because the on screen instructions were in Japanese. The staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. The laundry room was an asset and easy to use.

Cons:

I enjoyed it here. I have nothing negative to say.

Great location, friendly staff, good food selection for breakfast, great room and amenities.

Cons:

There was a musty smell around the elevators but my room was smelling fresh. Colleague commented their room had a strong smell of oily fish.

A very pleasant stay
Pros:

A modern and comfortable hotel on a quiet avenue, yet within a short walk of a metro station. The rooms were spacious, the lobby was cozy and inviting, and the breakfast offered a good variety of options to suit different tastes.
There was an excellent Italian restaurant nearby, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Pros:

The hotel is not that great. Rooms are very tight and have no day light even with window shades open. They were also not very clean, i found hair everywhere in the bathroom. There is a fabric headboard above the bed which is full of stains. They do have a breakfast buffet but its not worth the price charged, bread was stale, fruits were from the can. Overall it was a bit disappointing. The lobby uses up so much space for nothing. we had just come in from a few days in Osaka after staying at the Courtyard and this place is nothing in comparison.

Nice and smooth
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall service was excellent.

A special thanks to Kayoko at the front desk for her outstanding kindness and professionalism. She went above and beyond to assist us by coordinating and communicating on our behalf, making everything much easier and more convenient. She even kindly helped us by making phone calls to Osaka regarding our work-related matters and provided valuable assistance throughout our stay.

Her dedication and willingness to help made a big difference, and we truly appreciate her exceptional service. Thank you, Kayoko, for your warm hospitality and support. We highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

Lovely area
Pros:

The area was great, and seemed to be a good location close to many tourist places, as well as a good local matcha tea stall. The room was big and spacious, as we got a family room. The hotel had all you needed during your stay. Staff were lovely, friendly, and very helpful.

Cons:

Dinner closes a little early; other than that, it's a great place to stay.

Great location and warm staff.
Pros:

While the rooms are on the smaller side, this was not an issue for us as we primarily used them to rest and sleep. The hotel enjoys a peaceful location while still being within easy walking distance of Kyoto's main areas. What truly stood out was the warmth and hospitality of the staff, who were always welcoming and eager to assist. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend the hotel to others visiting Kyoto
