The hotel’s location is generally good: the metro is within walking distance, and many places can easily be explored on foot. The breakfast is solid, and the older doorman was particularly friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, these were the only positive aspects of my stay.

Cons:

The noise level is extreme. Traffic noise and honking can be heard clearly at night even with the window closed. The hotel is also very poorly soundproofed. Every night (I stayed for eleven nights), many guests returned, talked loudly in the hotel corridor, and slammed their room doors. As a result, getting a restful night’s sleep was almost impossible. Room cleaning also began at around 8:30 a.m., with considerable noise.

In the evenings, music from the karaoke bar in the basement reverberated throughout the hotel and could be heard loudly well beyond the lobby.

The rooms also fall far short of the impression created by the carefully staged photos of the elegant lobby online. To put it politely, the rooms are extremely basic and not very modern by comparison.

Apart from breakfast, there is no in-house restaurant. Overall, I find it difficult to understand how the hotel received a four-star rating—even according to Armenian criteria. In my opinion, several of the relevant criteria are not met.

The minibar was also disappointing: it contained several expired products, including pretzel sticks and other snacks. Water was not refilled even once, and there was not even a bottle opener, so I could not open my Coke.

Conclusion: I would not recommend this hotel.

Большая комната с видом на Арарат. Отдельная и особая благодарность персоналу — внимательные и доброжелательные. Благодаря такому отношению пребывание было особенно комфортным.

Pros:

Расположение удачное, близко к центру города и достопримечательностям.

Cons:

В номере не было прикроватных тумбочек. Некуда поставить стакан воды или положить например телефон. Электрическая розетка одна и на холодильник и на чайник. Приходилось выключить холодильник, чтобы вскипятить воды в чайнике. И не забыть потом снова включить холодильник. Может быть не знают, что существует двойная розетка. То же самое с феном и подсветкой зеркала в ванной. Одна розетка на два прибора. Нет кулеров с водой в коридорах. Подушки слишком плотные и тяжёлые, пришлось спать на декоративной маленькой подушке. Одеяло всё сбилось в комки. Туалетная бумага расположена на стене сзади унитаза , что очень неудобно. В отеле всегда лучше ставить душевую кабину, чем ванну. Шумоизоляции практически нет. Пришлось ночью звонить на ресепшен, чтобы успокоить гостей в соседнем номере.

Шикарный отель, просторные номера, вкусный завтрак, вежливый персонал, удобное расположение

Все было шикарно! Начиная с персонала заканчивая чистотой. Выбрали номер для 4-х, настолько просторного, со всеми удобствами номера не видела ни разу. Завтрак разнообразный, вкусный, сытный! Персонал вежливый, приветливый. Расположение удобное, 10 минут от центра. Была бы возможность поставить 100 я бы с радостью поставила! Мы провели замечательное время! Спасибо огромное Anga Yerevan Hotel!
