The bathroom was very small for a suite. The booking.com special of $300 per day to spend at the hotel was not
Mentioned to us or reminded us much was disappointing. Also a couple added to inhaler on our bill that weren’t accurate.
The breakfast was ok. I expected a little better.
I did not know what was complementary in the room and what was not. Should be clearly marked.
The property was amazing and the service as well as the staff amazing and the valet guy was great too. Overall my stay at this property was truly amazing. I will be coming back soon to enjoy this beautiful and amazing property.

Unfortunately I can not rate the property because while we were on our way there they cancelled our reservation stating they were overbooked. We had a sunset cruise booked and dinner reservations for my husband’s birthday and the hotel that was offered to us was not near the waterfront at all, ruined the evening.

Loud Hotel. The rooms are so constructed that you can hear the shower so loud that you think it is right beside you. Loud Airport Ronald Reagan, especially when the wind comes from east or north. Delivery trucks every morning make so much noise. Pool music is terrible loud (DJ). Breakfast waiting time so long, because it is just a tiny bar that offers the complementary breakfast for centurion members.
The location is Great. Water and restaurants and access.
The staff were terrible. Rude for a 5 star. Also very cheap, they charge you for everything. For the cost, you can find much better service.
Quite a small room with narrow access add very high price.
I was upgraded due to my Amex status and thank goodness because I can't imagine how small the room would have been. The toilet leaked all night and could be heard through the closed doors. I reported it and they just took a note. I expected a drink credit or the like, but no such offer. I didn't make it a big deal since I was not staying an additional night. The pool was smaller than appeared online and super crowded. The spa was meh; no lounge chairs just upright chairs, very strange for a spa. Customer service was on par with the brand but everything else was lackluster. I would not stay again.
We recently stayed at Pendry Washington DC – The Wharf for a full week while celebrating America’s 250th, and it truly exceeded our expectations.
The location is unbeatable right on the Wharf with stunning views of the Potomac River. We loved starting our mornings with peaceful walks along the water and having so many incredible restaurants just steps away. Although we were there during a heat wave and opted to Uber to many of the monuments and attractions, it made coming back to the hotel even more enjoyable.
The pool and amenities were a highlight. Relaxing poolside with attentive service and beautiful views was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. Our corner river-view room was absolutely stunning, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Potomac such a special touch. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and we had some of the best nights of sleep. Even the shower stood out, with amazing water pressure that felt like a spa experience.
Evenings at Moonraker, the rooftop bar, were a favorite gorgeous views, a great vibe, and delicious cocktails made for the perfect way to end each day.
Our only minor critique would be Bar Pendry. We were there during the World Cup and wished there had been larger flat-screen TVs to better enjoy the games.
Overall, an exceptional stay. Between the location, views, comfort, and service, we would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting DC.

Should be well planned to be able to view your tv set even when seated. Aside that, I had to pay for break fast. That’s a stretch and not value for money to be frank.
I celebrated my birthday with a two-night stay at Pendry Washington DC – The Wharf, and it was exactly the peaceful retreat I was hoping for.
The service was warm, polished, and thoughtful from start to finish. The team surprised me with a birthday amenity in my room, which was a wonderful touch and made the stay feel truly personal.
The hotel is beautiful, with elegant rooms, a relaxing pool and hot tub, and an atmosphere that encourages you to slow down. Its location on The Wharf is unbeatable, with restaurants, shops, bookstores, and waterfront walking paths all just steps away.
Booking through The Edit made the experience even better with breakfast, a property credit, and additional hotel benefits.
Every associate and wait staff were more than incredible and so very helpful! They made my birthday truly memorable and special, I’m so grateful.
