What a remarkable property. Amazinf amenities with a 7th Floor Pool overlooking the City of Tampa skyline. Every 3rd Sunday of the Month, the Water Street Farmer's Market is right out your front door. Can't do better in Downtown
The staff was super friendly. I was happy to have staff to check us in. It was a very safe and convenient location. The rooms were clean and had everything you need. I would definitely stay here again.
This hotel apartment was great! The room was nice and clean. The ac worked great and the bed was comfortable. I was able to dry some clothing. Aswell as heat up and refrigerate some food. We felt very safe to venture out in the neighborhood. We were near a supermarket and plenty of restaurants and pubs. We had a great time at the Roost and will definitely visit again!

Rude woman at front desk. Refunded my virtual card I booked with. Requiring me to use my physical card to book. That was weird. And she had a very condescending tone. Dogs barking in the hotel waking me up. It was awful.
Perfect location to stay for concert at Benchmark International Arena! Super quick, easy walk. Also, tons of walkable restaurants, coffee shops & a Publix around the corner.
Staff were very accommodating for our early arrival & late departure, storing our luggage & allowing use of the amenities floor which was wonderful.
The Junior one bedroom was perfect for me & my daughter. Lovely accommodations. Everything we needed & more.
Excellent stay. Great building and wonderful location. We were close to Hyde Park and places we wanted to dine, close to the walking path so we got in a long walk without feeling too far from the hotel, and with Publix + shopping on the same block -- we felt we had everything needed. Great pool area with grills and a solid gym to work out. Room was clean and in-place, with everything needed for an overnight, but we could have lived there for a week with all amenities covered. Kind and hospitable staff was the cherry on top, not only is the space/location fantastic, the smiling faces and helpful team members made it even better.

The value for the location proximity to the Benchmark Arena is unbeatable. It's literally like a one to two minute walk to the entrance of the arena for shows you want to go see. But because it's an Apartment complex first, hotel second, there's a strong hint of unwelcome by the residents that live there.
I don't blame them. I get it. You just got off work, you're trying to get to your apartment, and there's a group of people with luggage loading into the elevator who just checked-in to the hotel, which shares the same lobby.
It's just a weird setup that makes you feel implicitly unwelcome. Once you're checked in it's fine. Nobody knows whether you're a guest or resident.
Having said all that, would I return? Absolutely.

I had an outstanding stay at Roost Tampa! The location was perfect—close to everything I needed while still feeling safe and convenient. The property was exceptionally clean, and the attention to detail throughout the hotel was impressive.
The rooms were spacious, modern, and beautifully furnished with everything needed for a comfortable stay. I felt like I was in a luxury apartment rather than a hotel.
The value was excellent for the quality of accommodations and amenities provided. Despite being in a great area, the noise level was minimal, making it easy to relax and get a great night's sleep.
What truly made my stay exceptional was the service. Every staff member was welcoming, professional, and genuinely committed to making my stay enjoyable. Their hospitality exceeded my expectations and made me feel right at home.
I highly recommend Roost Tampa and will definitely stay here again on my next visit!
Location, Location, Location! Water Street is fantastic! Lots of restaurants, close to the riverwalk and Shipmans wharf. But it is also excellent for Bolts games and concerts at Benchmark International Arena. This area is nothing short of the best in Tampa right there with downtown St Pete. Roost is a great hotel, hidden nicely with excellent amenities! Pool is fantastic! Rooms are nice and unique just wish mine had a little more room for my computer to do some work. Its also quiet and located next to so many good restaurants and bars.

I was allergic to the down pillows and comforter so I had to contact the front desk to get new pillows and a new comforter. There was no TV in the bedroom.
The gym was closed for renovations.
The table in the room was too small for two people traveling with laptops.
The free coffee was only from 7am-8am
