Pros:

Its beautiful and cozy. Our favorite place to stay when we come to Sedona. The suites even have a washer and dryer. I am yet to find a more accommodating place in Sedona. The pools are really nice too. The whole property is amazing and relaxing.

Cons:

The beds could be better, but are comfortable enough for us to keep coming back, so not really an issue.

STEER CLEAR MOLD AND INAPPROPRIATE MANAGEMENT
Pros:

My three young children and I checked into Sedona Springs on July 18 while my husband was out of town for work. I was traveling alone with my children, two of whom have autism. My six-year-old daughter also has a complex autoimmune disorder, and mold exposure is a known trigger for her autoimmune flares.

On July 19, my daughter experienced a significant flare. While speaking with her medical team, I discovered what appeared to be mold under the upstairs bathroom sink. Because of her medical history, I inspected the rest of the unit and found what appeared to be mold on the bathroom ceiling and beneath the downstairs kitchen sink.

I immediately reported my concerns to the front desk. During that same conversation, I also reported that an ottoman on wheels had accidentally rolled down the stairs while my children were playing, damaging the wall. I wanted to be completely transparent.

The assistant manager was professional and understanding. He apologized, moved us to another room after confirming he did not see mold there, and assured me the accidental wall damage had been documented and not to worry about it.

After moving our belongings alone with three young children, we tried to enjoy the rest of our vacation. That evening, shortly after bathing my children, someone began pounding loudly on our door. Since there was no peephole, I looked through the bathroom window and saw a man who identified himself as the general manager. I explained that my children had just gotten out of the bath and asked if he could return in a few minutes. Instead, he continued demanding that I open the door.

Believing there was an emergency, I opened it. My children, still completely undressed after their baths, ran upstairs and stood beside me, leaving me feeling extremely vulnerable.

The manager immediately confronted me about the wall damage, stating I had damaged “his room,” that repairs would cost him money, and that the room would have to be taken out of service because of what “you people” had done. He also criticized the condition of the room, although he could not explain what he believed was excessively dirty.

When I reminded him that I had already reported the damage and had been told not to worry about it, he became increasingly confrontational. He told me I needed to monitor my children better, repeatedly emphasized his thirty years in the hotel industry, and insisted there had never been mold in the original room, calling me a liar despite my photographs and the fact that we had already been moved because of my concerns.

During the conversation, I believed I detected a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. When I mentioned it, I asked for his name and his supervisor’s contact information. He identified himself as Martin but refused to provide any supervisor’s information, stating only that I would be responsible for the damages before leaving.

I was so shaken that I immediately called my husband, who advised me to contact the police. Officers responded, documented the incident, and discussed my options. As I was alone with three exhausted young children, I did not feel it was safe or practical to relocate that night.

The next day, after multiple attempts, Martin finally provided only an email address for his supervisor, stating he lived in New Orleans and was unavailable because of the hurricane. When I asked to speak with anyone else, Martin told me I did not need to talk to anyone else.

Until that evening, I believed the situation had been handled appropriately. The assistant manager had treated us with professionalism and compassion. Unfortunately, the general manager’s actions completely changed our experience. Beyond the concerns about the apparent mold, what has stayed with me most is how unsafe, intimidated, and frightened I felt while traveling alone with my three young children. I hope this matter is taken seriously so that no other guest has a similar experience.

update: the manager from New Orleans called me and Sedona Springs Resort manager seemed more concerned about the hole in the wall then the mold or the general managers behaviors. In fact, he told me he believed it wasn’t mold, but he would have maintenance look at it …even though he’s in New Orleans, so I’m not sure how he would know that? Also no mention of mold inspection company at all…
He also stated he’s worked with Martin for over 20 years and repeatedly asked me “what do you want me to do?” when I told him we would be leaving four days early and wanted a refund of our vacation points for those days …He told me he couldn’t do that and to contact interval international 🤷🏻‍♀️

Perfect for our Visit
Pros:

We liked the location since we went to Sedona for a special dinner at Mariposa, one mile to the right on the 89. The first night we walked a half mile to the left to Pisa Lisa, another restaurant by renown chef Lisa Dahl. There are many off the tourist trap restaurants to walk to on 89. Movie theater, grocery stores, coffee shops are all walkable from here. The place was clean and has well kept grounds. It is a time share, so they may try to sell you on it. Just be prepared with a hard "NO thank you".

Buyer beware: stole my sweater/ hounding me for timeshare.
Pros:

Didn't realize it was a timeshare resort. Was asked to listen to their spiel. Declined. They have hounded me with phone calls every two weeks since, offering free stays to come listen. I decline. I tell them to stop calling me. I block their numbers. They call on a new one. Disgusted.

Housekeeping stole my favorite $100+ sweater when I left the resort and I contacted the office repeatedly about to be told it was never turned in. NEVER AGAIN. Buyer beware.

I would come back again!
Pros:

The room was well equipped. Full kitchen. The room was clean and it had extras in the storage like extra pillows, blanket, toiletpaper and two big towels for the pool.

Cons:

There was no dresser to put t-shirts and so on in.
The room wasn‘t still clean at 4pm (check-in time). The three elderly ladies at the reception couldn’t even say a word like „sorry for that“. In my eyes they were a bit arrogant.

Just go somewhere else!
Pros:

First of all I’m shocked this place has such high rating.
Ok location, we booked a king size bed room and when we got there we somehow had a studio with a twin bed…
It was our first family trip with our 10 month at the time baby.
The mattress was horrible, you’d sink in the bed and the bed-frame made a VERY loud noise every time you’d move. The floor was dirty, I walked a few minutes barefoot and my foot sole were black after!
We well had an issue with the Ac system, loud and once would reach the temp.was sett it wouldn’t jus stop, even tried to stop the whole thing and still didn’t stop, told the reception and been told they would fix it, next night same thing happened, I don’t even think they looked into the issue…
TERRIBLE experience…

Not sure that I find the amount of money per night comparable to the quality of the facility.
Pros:

Appreciated the people and their service. Although I did have to wait an exceptionally long time on a busy morning for a hairdryer that worked. I did eventually get it though. That’s what matters.

Cons:

The maintenance of the hot tubs was not good. Dirty, cloudy,, difficult to get turned on. No good markings or instruction.
