Pros:

I liked the location. Buffet was ok..

Cons:

They had promised to call me when my 2 rooms were ready. I also called to make sure both rooms were close together.. but was not. Pillows were terrible. Bed etc was good. Not my first time. Not many handicap parking.

Paid for an ocean view room and got a view of the ER next door, not the ocean. We told the staff and they did nothing to accommodate. We were not told about parking fees of $20.00 per night. Pillows were awful. Tow truck staged in the parking lot to take vehicles without hotel permits. Slow elevators and too many dogs in the hotel. No cleaning service and towels were not replaced. No ice bucket or microwave in room.

Super friendly staff, cleanliness and ambiance, breakfast options, access from main road and parking facilities.

Cons:

Paid parking. Typical shower head with just ok shower pressure. A hand-held shower with good pressure was missed.

Adequate, but not a choice I would repeat if I had to stay in Galveston
Pros:

The hotel was fine. The breakfast was very well done. Everything was clean. Staff were friendly and polite.

Cons:

The room above us was very noisy. It kept both of us most of the night. Our fellow travelers had the same problem with their room. They were on the 4th floor and we were on the second floor.
