Outstanding curation and facilities. Area not perfect.
Pros:

The interior design is very well done, with beautiful details and a great overall atmosphere.

Cons:

The staff was kind but directed us towards very touristy areas and places, which we didn’t like. The area is not as beautiful but still a good stay.

Pros:

The place was utterly beautiful, the terrace was amazing overlooking the acropolis. The service was fantastic, the ipad in the room made communication very easy. The food was also incredible.

Cons:

The noise from outside was so loud, i could barely sleep. The staff were nice and gifted me wine for complaining but that didnt really solve the problem… earplugs would be better!
The toilet is only separated from the room by a curtain

Great boutique hotel
Pros:

There were a lot of things to like from the interior design, wonderful staff and fantastic rooftop to have breakfast looking out at the Acropolis. The room I had was very beautifully designed and comfortable.

Cons:

Whilst I love the aesthetic, I don't love a loo in the bedroom which has minimal privacy. It's fine for solo travellers like me but I would find it very uncomfortable to share with either a friend or partner.

Lovely as always
Pros:

Third time staying, still a charm! I've been moving around Athens for 2 months, and Mona has become a favorite place to stay. The reprieve and peace they provide while still being central and in a great neighborhood is much appreciated. I sleep so well here! The team even wrote me a note and gave me a bottle of wine for being a repeat customer. When I had difficulty booking a car, a team member helped me get a taxi on the street. This is a place where quality and service consistently shine, and I'll always look forward to returning.

Pros:

It's a really cute and original boutique hotel, not comparable to any other place I have stayed in. Breakfast was great, you can order off a (small) menu and they make everything fresh for you. There is an amazing rooftop terrace (no drinks service when we were there) but great to bring a bottle of wine and enjoy the view of the Acropolis before or after dinner. It's a great place to stay for a long weekend in Athens - perfect location.

Cons:

AC didn't work in either of our rooms - it wasn't an issue as the weather was fairly cool but in summer would be a problem. Also, just be aware that some (all?) of the rooms only have a thin curtain separating bathroom and toilet from the rest of the room - only suitable if you are REALLY comfortable with the person you are traveling with. Besides that, the rooms are great if you like hotels that are unique and have a sense of place and design.

A rare gem
Pros:

This was my second stay here in the course of a week which likely says it all. I commend the entire team for the vibe this place exudes. If you're into unique stays that focus on quality, you'll really appreciate it. The breakfast is one of the best I've ever had at a hotel. Take it from the roof for the views! Thank you, Mona!

Industrial chic stay in hip neighborhood.
Pros:

The property is incredibly unique and very well designed. The bathtub in the suite is divine, and the room was very spacious. The hotel is located in a very hip, central neighborhood within walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and historical sites.

Cons:

There are sidewalk bars and cafes below the hotel that stay open late, and are quite noisy until 2 or 3am.
