Hearty Center Motel

I thought the inclusion of the massage chair was odd at first but once I got in it, I didn't want to get out!

L'hotel est assez bien situé proche de Katoomba St où sont les restaurants pour diner le soir; les chambres sont propres et les lits confortables avec assez de couvertures (nous y sommes allés en Juillet donc en hiver).
Les fauteuils massants sont une curiosité, à essayer pour se détendre quelques minutes, mais c'est un peu étonnant d'en trouver dans chaque chambre, et cela prend de la place.
Nous avons oublié un chargeur en partant et ils l'ont gardé à la réception et avons pu le récupérer sans problème l'après midi.

Comfortable room and adequate shared kitchenette close to shops and bushwalking.

We booked three units for seven people and the beds were very comfortable. The heaters worked well and kept us warm during winter. The family room had a microwave and fridge, which was convenient, and the space was large enough for all of us to sit together for a chat and snacks before heading to our rooms. The best part was the massaging chair in every unit — perfect after a full day of bushwalking. There was plenty of street parking as our can't go up to the car park entrance.

Flexibility and caring about customers. I arrived late during the night and needed a good sleep, they helped me so much. The bed so comfortable! They had tooth brushes. Small things matter.
Great value for money

Very clean and amazing facilities! Jacuzzi/ steam with ambient lights and massage chair in a room were the winners! Also kitchen is very well equipped, toaster, microwave, ready hot water and cold filtered water. Cooktown are also available. It's a cute old house so don't expect 25 degrees inside in winter but you get warm blankets in the room and you sleep better when it's colder. On my last day staff were kind enough to leave my backpack in the room so I could still go and visit Leura.

The accommodations did not align with the photographic representations. Upon arrival, our room's configuration, which consisted solely of a bed and a massage chair, was unsatisfactory due to the absence of en-suite bathroom and toilet facilities. These amenities were located across the hall and were shared with other guests. Consequently, we opted not to stay and departed the premises.

We unequivocally cannot recommend this establishment. Our rating for this property is zero stars.

Lovely historic building

Nice room and facilities and staff response very quickly

Very friendly host. I arrived sick with a cold from a long trip and stayed to relax. My room was simple but cosy and I had a sink, a massage chair ( didn't book it) and a kettle in my room. Though it is cold in winter time you are given a heater. Also if you are cold and want to use the spacious breakfast/kitchen room you can also ask for a little heater.The place is very spacious and close to the entry to the blue mountain trails and the aborigine park site. Also close to nice restaurants and an Aldi and other stores and cafes. It's a good choice for budget travellers that don't want a hostel. I would recommend this place also to travellers 40+. Secret: The best shower is upstairs. :)
