Fair place to stay.
Pros:

It is a nice and new building. It’s kept clean.

Cons:

This hotel must be offering hotel vouchers to the unhoused population as in the evenings I saw 4 separate individuals check in who smelled strongly of not having good hygiene, two had dogs, all had carts of bags with belongings. It’s just a weird vibe when on vacation. I went to do laundry and there was a lady talking to herself in the laundry room who appeared unhoused. Sketchy block with a building across the street that has not changed since a 2023 trip to this property with the same mattresses still wrapped in plastic 3 years later. Overall, Oakland has improved since ‘23, but it’s still a work in progress. I was also double charged for one of my 2 rooms this trip. Paid Booking.com and property said I had not and made me pay a second time at check in. Really screwed up my budget and I’m waiting for the extra charges to drop off my credit card. It took 2 days of calling the manager and stopping at the front desk to get any response.

洗澡的时候水太小了，洗澡的玻璃门自动打开，洗手间的玻璃门开关门的时候声音很大声，隐私性不够高，客人如果住两天第二天想要补瓶装水都要加钱，一个晚上两百多的房价居然要客人家小瓶的瓶装水钱

De centrale ligging van de accommodatie was een significant voordeel. Het hotel presenteerde zich als verzorgd en hygiënisch, en het personeel toonde zich consistent vriendelijk en servicegericht. De aanwezigheid van een basis fitnessfaciliteit werd eveneens als positief ervaren.

Cons:

Buiten het stadscentrum bevond zich een aanzienlijk aantal daklozen, tenten, caravans en personen die in voertuigen verblijven. Deze situatie deed zich voor op slechts enkele minuten loopafstand van het hotel. Voor gezinnen of personen die niet bekend zijn met dergelijke omstandigheden, kan dit een gevoel van onveiligheid teweegbrengen.

Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choices including fruits and hot foods.

Cons:

It took over thirty minutes to receive additional bath towels, as only two towels were available in the bathroom. We had reserved two rooms. The bathroom door is a sliding door that does not close completely, thereby allowing visibility of the person using the toilet from the side of the bathroom. The night front desk clerk who checked us in was not courteous. Furthermore, the valet service is quite costly, amounting to $60 for one night.
